This rabbi just caused the conservatives to threw their remotes at the tv when he said Hillary would be the next president of the US.

Honestly that was what Ali was about.
Saying uncomfortable truths and not giving a fuck who was offended by it.
Rabbi Lerner channeled Ali during his speech.
Its really touching to me how many different types of people with different faiths and backgrounds were chosen to speak. When is the last time a Native American was asked to speak at anything?
When you put it that way I can understand. It just kind of felt he was using that stage for his own platform when it is meant to be about honoring a man. It is true though that the attitude given by the Rabbi mirrors Ali in his heyday though.
The truth isn't always comforting. He did and said exactly what Ali would've wanted him to do and say. He invited him for a reason.

Well im crying gaf, this tribute currently is giving me chills.
Billy Crystal gave a damn good speech. Looking at the members of audience just blows me away. Senators, ex-Presidents, actors, community leaders, and more. This guy attracted all these people with just his fists and his wits. Ali has to be the people's champion. I feel like a little kid listening to tall tales. Very inspiring service.
Here is the full replay. I started watching about an hour ago. I couldn't take the cable networks' coverage and talking over the stream. Watch away. And last thing I want to say is Rest in Power Ali!!

Yeah, been crying a lot listening to these speeches and hearing the emotion in these voices. There's never going to be another person quite like Muhammad Ali.
