Multi console owners: what console do you play on most and why?

Ps4 by a mile. I have not turned on any other console in months.

I prefer the PS library, and I actually think the controller is great. I have not had any issues with my controller and my ps4 isn't loud as apparently some other people's. I guess I have been fortunate. Knock on wood.

PS4. Daddy's game system in Daddy's office where he can drink Daddy drinks and use Daddy language with Daddy's friends.

If you had an XB1, you could have trained your kids to "pour me a f*cking perfect pint" you know, with just half a finger of head on it. The wife would be in the spare bedroom watching Dancing with the Stars on Hulu using an Amazon Fire TV Stick that you picked up used for 10 bucks while your friends and you rage it on the living room TV.

Sorry that you bought a PS4.

Xbox one due to friends and games. Wii U probs next due to local multiplayer stuff. Hopefully get a little more play out of the PS4 when I get uncharted and no mans sky.

Owned all.

WiiU only got used for Lego city - collects dust.
PS4 I gave up on due to unreliable hardware - never want another.
Xbox one used often due to mates but looks redundant soon with Win 10 app.
PC yeah that's me,used daily, happy with Xbox app now needs Destiny 2.

3DS and Wii (not WIi U, Wii). 3DS consistently gets the most releases that interest me and I consistently use my Wii for Melee and Project M.

I haven't played games much in the last ~3 years though. If I did I think all of my current-gen platforms would get a fair amount of use.

For me its PS4 because:

-Its a bit more powerful.
-Streaming and recording video is easier.

That said, I love my Xbox One because its the only place to play some of the best games that I love. I think if the Xbox One could give their dashboard an overhaul and make streaming as easy as it is on PS4, I could see using my Xbox as my main console.

I own all three consoles, both portables and a PC.

- I play my PS4 the most by far. My friends plays on this platform the most, and the multiplatform games perform generally better.
- I care about trophies, I don't care about achievements system on other platform (XBL, Steam) I really can't pin point why.
- I prefer Sony exclusives, I only use my Xbox One for their exclusives.
- WiiU is my local coop machine when I have friends over.

Really depends on the type of game(s) I'm interested in at the time.

Recently it's been PS4 w/ Bloodborne and now Uncharted 4 (and to a lesser extend PS3 for Demon's Souls and now Dark Souls).

Prior to this it was a LOT of Wii U, most recently Yoshi's Woolly World (so good!).

PC quite a bit this year too w/ The Witness, Superhot, etc.

XB1 has been my least played by far, but I have a number of games I really need to get back to. Same with my portables and mobile devices in recent months.

I have all three systems.

My xbox gets used 99% of the time (games, TV, Netflix). I prefer everything about the xbox, and my friends have it too. I actually own 3, one got home and I have two in my office for co-op games.

The Wii U is basically for my kids to watch Netflix and I play an exclusive roughly once a year.

The PS4 I bought for The last of us (amazing game). It's been as loud as a jet since day 1, and I can't stand the cheap feel of the controller.I bought bloodborne but I couldn't get into it, I didn't play for more than a couple hours.

PS4 by far. I have an Xbox One as well but rarely use it.
The DS4 is far and away the best controller I have ever used. Far more comfortable than the Xbox One gamepad. How Microsoft fucked up the Xbox One gamepad so badly after how good the Xbox 360 controller is I will never understand.
I also love hdmi-cec on the PS4. Push the Playstation button on the DS4 and my receiver and tv both turn on and set the correct inputs automatically. No need to touch a remote.
Multiplats almost always have a resolution/framerate advantage on the PS4 as well.

Wii U and PS4.

Definitely play the Wii U more. PS4 has so much overlap with PC that I almost never touch the thing.

I have a backlog of all the first party exclusives on Wii U.

Third parties/multiplats I play on my gaming PC.

Own PS4, Xbone and WiUU

PS4 is the most played becuase TLOU multiplayer , Bloodborne and Rocket League

WiUU is the second one because Xenoblade, Zombie U and Mario Maker

Xbone got it for the Gears deal and backward compatibility, play Halo Reach but the console eats dust most of time

3DS.
Best games for me.

At home, Wii U edges out PS4 because of VC and Off-TV still pantsing Remote Play even on a wired fiber line, but I don't play either super often. PS4 may take it this with P5 (region free) and NoA fumbling the ball with #FE.

Have all three consoles.

PS4: Play the most since I pretty much get all the multiplats on it due to looking/running better, all my friends are PS4 only owners (only one owns X1), I vastly prefer Sony's exclusives to Microsoft's or Nintendo, I like collecting trophies more then achievements, and I prefer the DS4 over the X1 controller (Grew up with the Dualshock, what can I say).

X1: Used for exclusives and backwards compatibility. Also used as a blueray/netflix player when friends come over to hang.

Wii U: Used for exclusives.

I own a Wii U, PS4, PS3, and 3DS. It really depends on what's out at the time, but I think my Wii U gets the most play time, simply because there's more games I want to play on it. PS4 is a close second because of Bloodborne though.

XB1 > Wii U
XB1 gets turned on every day since the cable box runs through it. Most new games don't come out on Wii U, so it's sort of a no-brainer, but I do turn it on from time to time for Super Mario Maker or the odd VC playthrough

Own them all and I use my Xbox one most of the time. Prefer the controller and I moved the Xbox into a room that allows me to play more.

I own everything current gen except a 3DS and still have my PS3(ditched the 360 when BC started rolling out).

Play time is PS4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS3 >>> XB1 > Vita > Wii U

I have always been pretty fond of Sony's first party in addition to 3rd parties. I know a few people that are still on Xbox, but the majority have either switched or stayed with PS, and I have a much bigger pool of people to play with(IRL and people that I know on GAF). The XB1 has very few exclusive games that I care much for, though there have been some good ones from GWG in the last several months. It so far has probably been a waste of money for me. When I bought it, I was expecting this gen to not be so lopsided and to still have a decent amount of friends in the MS ecosystem. My Vita playtime has gone down drastically as I don't care much for handhelds these days. There have been very few Wii U games that I have liked(SM3DW = GotG so far, but that's about it), and so many of them feel like the same game that I've played 5 times before, not to mention no decent third party support.

I should probably sell everything besides PS4/PS3/Vita(only keeping Vita around for a couple of games that I LOVE and want to finish someday, then sell it off too) and wait to see what the NX is all about.

I own all three consoles and a PC. I would say I play PC the most, PS4 is probably next. Xbox one gets probably the least amount of use right now, but Gears 4 will change that. My friends mostly have XBox Ones or PCs.

PS4, got all my friends on it, more fighters as well.

Bought a Xbox One for KI, got it on PC now and I don't even like the game anymore. Console is collecting dust, might keep it as a Blu-Ray player or sell it.

I switch pretty evenly between PS3/PS4/Wii U but I don't give my handhelds enough attention. I probably play my Wii U the most out of anything now, though.

PS4. I don't enjoy the Xbox UI or store setup. Plus, the sales are so much better and frequent on PSN.

Xbox is only for exclusives and nothing else.

I have all three plus 3ds, vita, and a decent PC. I play the PC and PS4 the most. If a game is multi platform then I choose the best version which this generation is usually on those two systems.

Own them all and PC.
Play PS4 the most for the consoles.
WiiU is for nintendo games and even then only certain ones.
Xbox only has gears.

Ps4 and PC are split evenly and get the most play

Own all 3 (XB1, PS4, Wii U) and my XB1 sees a lot of use time because of certain Apps and its seamless integration with my cable TV.

For gaming purposes, PS4 sees the most time just because of typically higher res/FPS on multi plats.

I barely use my Wii U at all :/

PS4 primarily, then Wii U, then Xbox One. If we are including handhelds it is probably Vita, 3DS, then PS4. Xbox One is my first Xbox console, that's probably part of it. I play almost all multiplats on PS4, so I really only have Xbox One for the exclusives.

Pc, Wii u, ps4, ps3, and vita

In the last year it would go in that order.

Pc first because thats where I own most games as they are cheaper and run better.
Wii u a close second. It's the best for local multiplayer. A lot of great exclusives. Also it is the most family friendly so that is the main device I use when playing games with my children (6&3). Also xenoblade was probably my most played game in the last 12 months.
Ps4 and ps3 are pretty much just for exclusives. Ps4 is getting some attention at the moment with uncharted and bloodbourne.
Vita is mainly used when traveling or on holiday.

Own all 3.

Easily play my ps4 the most. The other two I only get exclusives for them, and they don't a ton compared to the games I get on ps4.

Ps4 because I love love love the controller, has the most game (usually run better), it's the easiest and snappiest OS, and I enjoy the ecosystem it's developed.

I own all three and play on the Xbox One more.

I'm the only one out of my group of friends that owns all three consoles and most of my friends have the Xbox One so that definitely plays a role.

The media integration features of the Xbox One make it a great console for multiplayer gaming in my opinion. Watch TV, get a notification for a game invite, accept it, and then jump right into the game (since all of my games are digital). The Xbox Elite controller is amazing -- far better than any other current gen controller. I do own a ChronusMax though but I mainly got it for my fight stick (to play Street Fighter V).

Backwards compatibility is nice since I have a decent number of Xbox 360 games (and gave my 360 to a friend) and EA Access is great too. I also like a decent number of Xbox console exclusives. I'm a huge racing game fan so Forza is one of my favorite game series. I would probably go crazy if I had the PS4 only since I would be craving a solid sim racer; Really hope Gran Turismo Sport delivers.

Anyway, I use my Wii U for Nintendo games and my PS4 for its console exclusives for the most part. Really pumped to play Uncharted 4 but I want to get finished with other games before I start it.

Between ps4, wiiu and PC I mainly play on ps4 because of most of my friends play on psn. - especially destiny and bo3. Also past and current exclusive titles draw me in. Wiiu comes at second place as my jump'n run local coop machine. Last place is PC, where I mostly play stuff like quake live, team fortress, counter strike and kerbal space program.

wii u mostly for smash and splatoon online atm.

ps4 for occasional single player games like souls, batman and now uncharted.

beside that, my family does like to use ps4 for youtube.

PC gaming rig mostly does PC things. Currently it's a Word, Sublime Text, Civ V and Roller Coaster Tycoon World machine.

PS4 is used for exclusives and most multiplat. Right now the only console being used for game purposes with Uncharted.

Xbox One is used for exclusives, EA Sports, and all streaming (HBO,Showtime,Netflix,ESPN, Sling, and Hulu). I'd say it's used the most as it's the only thing the lady of the house likes to use and occasionally play.

Wii U has always been plugged in, but recently it's only been used for having friends over and playing drunken Mario Kart.

I have everything but an Xbox One, which just doesn't really suit my tastes software wise. I think I primarily play, console wise, on a 3DS. Most of my gaming time is on PC on the whole but 3DS has Monster Hunter so it rules over the rest by default, for my needs.

If 3DS doesn't count then I guess Wii U although I don't use it too much either. Still need Mario Maker, though. I think this year due to obvious reasons I'll get more use out of my PS4 though, I mean I can think of 2-3 titles I want for PS4 but literally none (this year) for Wii U.

Xbox One, PS Vita, 3DS, Wii U

Most played: 3DS for sure. Why? Pokèmon, Monster Hunter, Yo Kai Watch are the main reasons.

Second place: In total numeber of hours Wii U, thanks to MK8 online, Splatoon and Devil's Third.

Third place: Xbox One, bought but played not so much for now, but in the last month I played about only on X1 thanks to UFC 2.

I think I don't use PS VITA from about 1 yr or more, I don't even rememeber last game I've plahed on it, maybe Killzone.

I own PS4, XB1, Wii U, 3DS, Vita, and PC.

PS4 gets the most play time by far. I love the controller, the dash, and the generally better IQ. It's where most of my friends are, and it's where I buy most of my games. I'm dropping my &180/mo. Verizon FIOS for a cheaper, faster internet and grabbing a sub to PlayStation Vue, so soon it will be even more present in my life.

3DS comes in second. I play for 30-60 min in bed every night, plus some when I go out sometimes.

Wii U is dead last. However I've been thinking about selling my XB1, and if I do that the Wii U will get the living room tv all by itself, so it might get some more play time.

I have several systems, and I don't know if portables count, but I tend to play on my 3DS and Vita the most frequently. 3DS because Ace Attorney is on it <3, and Vita because I love visual novels. I also just love being able to play in my bed and walk around with it to the kitchen if I'm hungry LOL

If portables don't count, I'd say my PS4 is a close third. It's the system I have FFXIV on, so it would take up quite a bit of my time

Out of all the machines I own, I would have to say that it’s a tie between the Wii U and PC. Smash 4 is a blast to play and Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo are amazing in their own ways. I’ve played hundreds of hours for each game and keep coming back for me. In fact, I am taking a break from playing Smash 4 at the moment to type this.

Next has to be the PS4, as it has the better performance with multi-platform games, a great UI, and so on. I also find it to just have better exclusives in general compared to the Xbone.

3DS is just underneath the PS4 due to Smash 4, Zelda, Pokemon, and Ace Attorney. Great handheld system.

Xbone is definitely my least played console as it’s strictly a Halo box with my 3 best friends (amazing birthday gift from them!). I don’t use the console otherwise.

Dead last is iOS. I only play games on my iPhone when I’m commuting, on a break or just want to fire up some casual or very unique games (solitaire, word search, sudoku, trainyard, casino/slots, pachinko, labyrinth, etc).

TLDR: Wii U/PC > PS4 > 3DS > Xbone > iOS

I own all consoles and I play most on my Xbox one.

Reasons:

Xbox Elite Controller - Best controller I ever held and the customization is awesome.

All my friends play online multiplayer games on the xbox one.

Wii U over PS4 recently. I haven't played my PS4 much since I beat AC: Syndicate back in January, while I've been kept pretty busy with Xenoblade, TP HD, and Star Fox on Wii U.

Mostly play XB1 because I like Achievements and the controller. I have been playing the PS4 more lately thanks to Gravity Rush (that game is so freaking good!), and plan to continue to do so with R&C and U4. But it's mostly first party exclusives that I play on my PS4.
