Multi console owners: what console do you play on most and why?

i have PS4, Wii U and Xbox one.

i mostly play on my xbox one and just exclusives on ps4/wiiu.
xbox is just my preferred and my friends are all there :)

(I see people including PC thought this was just consoles ;) but if we include PC i game on that the most)

Home console? PS4, my Wii U is a paperweight because of the ridiculous decision of not putting an ethernet port. My adapter broke and I can't find another that's compatible, so I can't play online without lag. Add to that the laughable 32gb of internal storage and I just stopped buying and playing games on it altogether.

Handheld is the opposite, my Vita had a shitty battery and I can't find somewhere to replace it, so I just gave up and shelved it. My 3DS is still going strong even though I'm not really happy about getting a shitty TN panel.

My most used platform order is 3DS, PC, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U.

PS4 (NEO) for exclusives and the occasional multiplats; I'd play on it ~70% of the time.

PC for most multiplats and legacy games (emulators); I'd play on it ~30% of the time.

Will add an NX for Nintendo games, later next year.

Have them all... 90% of the time I play on my Xbox One. Friends... like the controller more.. back compat and honestly I am a stat freak so the built in leaderboards for hero stats in every game combined with time played stat gets me.

With that being said I will be on my PS4 a ton this next week playing Uncharted.

PS4 probably.

I undoubtedly use my PS4 more, but it's typically for running netflix/hulu/hbo/youtube/ etc. In previous years, I probably would have said I played my Wii U more for actual gaming, but as the console starts to phase out I play a lot more on my PS4. Smash and VC games are probably the only games keeping my Wii U alive at this point.

PS4 and PC.

I play mostly PC, all my friends are on the PC and I just kind of prefer it. I was rocking a PS4 for a while, from like 2014 to last fall of 2015, when I finally upgraded my PC. Since then its been all PC. When I get Uncharted 4, it will be the first time I powered it on since September I believe.

Right now, X1 since I have 4 controllers, and only 1 controller for PS4. We played lots of Smash bros on WiiU last year, but we've moved to rocket league, halo, and minecraft of X1 lately.

Also, Street Fighter 5 gets decent playtime.

I own all(Xb1,PS4,Wii U) but I play my PC more than all of them. But of the three, I've probably spent more time with the XB1. I really only use them for interesting exclusives. I enjoyed Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2 a lot. I think MCC was the last thing I played on consoles. And I love the rumble triggers of the X1 controller. But I'll dust off the ol' PS4 after my move to play the new Uncharted.

Time split in between 3DS and Vita, Vita the most lately because I've been on a Project Diva binge (I'm not including PC here), Wii U is getting more use as of late than usual (normally its just a few Splatoon matches for me a week) thanks to the Nintendo Humble bundle though.

Ps4 > Vita > WiiU > PC > ps3

Ps4 is my main machine, closely followed by the vita, which I play on the trains. Next up is the wii u, which my wife and I play together. It also gets a lot of use for Hulu, so it would probably be higher up the list, but I'm only taking gaming time into account here.

My pc is nothing more than a kerbal machine at this point. I want to change that soon and get back into other sim type games. Finally, there's my ps3, which is mostly used for demon's souls and dark souls 1, but I do have a pretty considerable backlog for it, and I am trying to catch up on that.

Have all the consoles. Play on PS4. It's got the exclusives I love (Uncharted, Until Dawn, Bloodborne, Journey) and they didn't pull any of the bullshit MS did/was trying to so I prefer Sony anyway. Bye bye Kinect. Don't let the door hit your ass.

My Xbox I basically used for media and that was it. Now I don't really use it for anything. I'll probably play it again when Gears Of War or something comes along.

I own a PS4 and Xbox one

The Xbox elite controller pushes me to Xbox when I have a choice on most games but console bonus usually sway me more (i.e. Destiny on ps4, division on Xbox).

Honestly surprised on how much these company copy each other Sony hasn't made a elite style controller.

I'd say over all I'm 50/50 on each

I have a PS4, Wii U, Xbox One.
I play the Xbox One the most. I've owned the Xbox One longer so I have more games for it (I did get a PS4 at launch, but I ended up giving it away). I really prefer the controller, even though the DS4 is really good too. I'm sure I'll play the PS4 more whenever I get around to getting into Bloodborne (I wanna get through Dark Souls 3, first) and Street Fighter 5 (got it for 10 skiddoos, whoo!). My Wii U isn't even hooked up to a TV and I turn it on rarely to play a Virtual Console game on the tablet.

Above all consoles, though, I play on my PC much, much more...

PS4 daily.

Have not turned in my XB1 for a while, XB gold lapsed too.

I never turn on my PC either.

Overwhelmingly Xbox One out of said Xbox, PS4, Wii U and PC.

Everything else is used for exclusives or the rare occasion of a great deal on Steam for a game I either wasn't sure of, not that interested in, etc.

Reasons are Xbox Live, Elite controller, game sharing, and general familiarity with the platform.

It's about even. Like I'll play a ton of Wii U exclusives in a row, then play a bunch of 3DS exclusives in a row, then play a bunch of PS4 exclusives in a row, then play a bunch of Xbox One exclusives in a row, then play a bunch of multiplats on PC.

Just build a PC like three months ago and it's by far my most played platform over that period. For 2016:

1. PC
2. PS4
3. Wii U
4. Xbox One

My Wii U is essentially a Smash Bros machine. While my Xbox One is a holiday shooter box.

Playstation 4. Friends are there, snappier OS, slightly better multiplats, better and more plentiful exclusives, list goes on.

One category the Xbox One wins for me is the controller, just the GOAT. And achievements. Sony's trophies still feel like a broke-ass version of Achievements.

I own every modern gaming platform. Ever since getting a gaming PC a while ago, it's been my go to platform followed by PS4 and occasionally the Wii U. I've actually been thinking about selling the XB1, Wii U, Vita, and 3DS at some point but I'm not really sure I can transfer my DD from the Nintendo platforms and I'm not convinced anyone actually wants to buy my Vita/XB1 at this point, lol.

You know I thought all consoles, would be fun. But now that I own them all, I rarely have time to play due to work :(. I mostly play the 3DS when on the subway to work though.

I have a PS4 and One and play the vast majority of games on the Xbox. One reason is that it's what all my friends have but the standard and Elite controllers are such a joy to use.

I have a Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and the Wii U.

I mainly play the Xbox One since most of my friends play there, the Elite controller (which I also use on my PC which I use quite a bit as well) The PS4/Wii U get used for exclusives.

PS4 for multiplatforms and exclusives.
XBox one for TV and Exclusives.
Just sold my WiiU as it was not doing it for me anymore. Not sure why either as I grew up loving Nintendo. Absolutely loving them.

I do not prefer any controller. I use them all just fine.
I get multiplatforms on the PS4 as I prefer Native 1080p when possible.
I do not care about where my friends are as I really do not play games with people these days. I tend to stick to SP campaigns and the MP games I do play I go lone wolf. I actually prefer that with the off exception of games like The Division.

So yeah, PS4 is my preferred console.
XBox One is on way more as I have my TV hooked up to it.

Xbox One:

External HD is cheaper than SSD so its my multi plat box (unless Ps4 is a BIG difference)

Prefer Xbox Exclusives at the moment (Sony is slowly winning me over)

Gold >>> PS Plus (free games + BC)

Controller

Console has TV.......I love my time warner app and the flexibility with my kenict + MKV support

Xbox incentives such as Bing reward points and Xbox Live Rewards give me extra cash to purchase random content

I own all 3 as well as last gen and other retro consoles. I play Xbox1 the most as that is where my friends are at. I do play the PS4 and WiiU occasionally for exclusives. I'll be playing Uncharted 4 soon so my PS4 will finally get some more play time.

Have all 3 consoles.

PS4. All multiplats I play on this. There have been a good amount of exclusives that I've been interested in and played as well. I vastly prefer the ps4 controller over the other two. And I like the ecosystem (the store design, history of purchases, webstore in general is far better on PSN than the other ones). Most of my friends have the system as well so we can borrow games off each other, bring a controller over etc.

My next most played system would be Wii U due to local multiplayer games like Mario Kart and Smash.

Then Xbox One for some exclusives. If the Xbox One was more portable/had no power brick, maybe this would get more play as EA access is available on it and I'd subscribe in a heartbeat (damn you Sony!), but it's too much of a hassle to move it from my basement to my room, or to have it be a permanent console in my room due to how big it is.

Currently what my setup is that I have a power cable, hdmi and LAN cable on standby in my room and the basement, and have the ps4 connected in my room for most of the week, and take it back down to the basement on weekends if friends are coming over and we want to play some COD splitscreen or Rocket League. So the only thing I'm really moving is the console itself, the cables stay where they are. Takes less than 20 seconds to connect back up.

PC > Wii U > 3DS > PS4 for me.

All the multiplats besides a few infamous ones I play on PC, and find myself playing PC exclusives the most (Civilization, DOTA, and Mabinogi get most of my time).

Wii U/3DS is for Nintendo exclusives for the most part. Still play Sm4sh, Mario Kart and Splatoon pretty often. 3DS is a Monster Hunter/Pokemon machine.

Tbh, the only games I've played a decent amount of hours on my PS4 so far is Bloodborne and Until Dawn. Waiting for Danganronpa 3, FFXV, KH2.8/3 and Star Ocean.

3DS, PS3, Wii U, PS4 (roommates). I don't foresee that ordering changing much in the near future. Maybe when the NX comes out.

Own all 3
PS4 gets the most playtime
Friends
Controller
Ease
Games

Wii U is next

And i barely look at my one sadly

PC and WiiU, which has me covered for almost all

then a tie between XB1 which I only play Gears of War or X360 games there + Rare Replay

PS4 I only have fighting games and bloodborne, bloodborne is in the backlog and only practicing occasionally guilty gear xrd revelator demo

Have a PS Vita, 3DS, PS4, XBO and a gaming capable PC.

Strangely enough, the machine that gets most playtime on mine is my Vita, followed by my PS4. I mostly play Japanese games, so those two keep me occupied most of the time. I'll dust off my 3DS soon for Bravely Default 2, which has gathering dust for awhile. Gaming PC is next, mostly for CRPGs (last used for Grim Dawn, which was nice). I haven't actually turned on my XBO this year at all... still not sure why I bought it.

I have a PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and a decent gaming PC.

I buy most of my games on PS4 because I am a trophy whore. My friends also stick to PS4 which is another incentive for online gaming. Most games look better on the PS4 compared to Xbox One too of course. I bought the Xbox One and Wii U solely for exclusives.

Locally? WiiU
Generally? X1 almost nightly.

I was a converter - 360 to PS4 - on launch and didn't get an X1 until last fall but the main two reasons are my replaced PS4 sounds like a jet engine and Sony banned my main account when I did a chargeback on my auto renewed ps plus sub they specfically promised to refund to my card (I clarified three times and have the chat log to prove i was promised a refund, not store credit) but didn't. They've lost much of my use and business since then and now my X1 collection is bigger than my ps4.

Truthfully I loved everything about my PS4 but prefer the X1 controller; I play mostly FPS such as Halo 5 and have never been a fan of analog sticks on the same axis.

My 3ds so gets hardly any love.

It has changed for me a few times over the last several months. I own all the systems, and for the longest time, I played the X1 more than the WiiU and PS4. Then I started playing the WiiU more (I returned to Mario Kart and started playing it a lot, and then Xenoblade Chronicles X came out).

The least played of this generation for me has been my PS4. I still play it quite a bit, but not nearly as much as the other two.

This will probably be some sort of console heresy (since I guess it isn't REALLY a console), but ever since I got the Alienware Alpha, I have been playing it more than all the others. Steam Big Picture mode with the X360 and Steam Controller have made PC gaming amazing for me. I'm just getting back into PC gaming, and I'm loving it.

One the portable front, my N3DS gets way more play time than my Vita (although I still LOVE my Vita).

I used to play on my Xbox systems most of the time because that's where all my friends were.

For the past while I've been unable to hang with them so now I just kinda play whatever...

PC mainly because of FFXIV, but I'll be taking a break before the next patch. PS4 has been sorta the binge watch station for a while but I'm going to start Fallout 4 over since I lost my saves a couple weeks.

Guess I'm getting to that age where gaming just isn't a big deal to me, but give me a fun sandbox and I'll be playing for months. Been wanting to get back into a few games that I played on the One before trading it in, like Destiny for some odd reason. My poor Wii U has been so neglected lol.

Xbox One by far.

Though I'm picking up Uncharted 4 Friday (which also happens to be my birthday) so yeah I'll be knee deep in that game for quite a while.

Vita, 3ds second.

The portability is great. Frees up the TV. I can pause for long term and come back. I seriously wish the Vita took off. Console games on a handheld is great.

After those it's PC. Isometric games are life.
