Multi-console owners, what version of GTA V are you going with?

360 version because of the controller. Graphically I don't expect enough to make a difference between the 2 to change my mind.

They've been demoing it on PS3. I'm assuming that means something to them - that the current build is slightly more stable on that console, which could all change, but still.

I will wait for the PC version I think. I cannot think that a game at the end of a 7 year console life span will look better than on PC.

It's a good question- I went IV on PS3, felt a little burned. Then went Red Dead on PS3, felt really burned.

I'm going 360 this time, mainly because playing online, most of the other people I know will be on 360.

And then PC, hopefully. Playing Episodes and IV on PC felt so amazing. Still playing if anyone is on PC :/

I came to this thread to say neither because fuck OP and I'm trying to be edgy.

/Sarcasm off

Seriously will never understand people who come into threads with the sole purpose of not contributing to the discussion.

Multi-console owner here. Going with PS3 and just hoping it is at least as good if not better than the 360 version.

Both so I can run totally-not-iJustine over with a truck twice

That's Yvonne, not iJustine.

I'm tempted to wait and see if a next-gen version gets released.

Otherwise I'm conflicted. I predominantly use my PS3 these days but the PS3 version of GTA IV was so shitty that it feels like the 360 version is a safer bet.

I'll be getting the 360 version because of controller preferences.

Also every R* openworld game was slightly better on the 360 this gen.

PS3 only because it runs on a Blu-ray Disc, I don't know how it'll even fit on a standard DVD, then when it comes out on PC I'll be all over that.

If I get the game at all, it'd be on PS3. Not sure if I'm going to since GTA4 burned me massively, but I'm not paying for Gold ever again so there's really no reason to get anything on 360 except pure single-player games.

At the moment it's unclear if PS4/Xbone versions will show up, I'm not double-dipping and with all thats coming out around the same time/backlog I'll probably wait until 2014. Unless the MP looks good in which case I'll get PS3.

PS3 unless the 360 version is considerably better like Red Dead Redemption was. Max Payne 3 was a big improvement on the PS3 front though, so I think Rockstar has it down by this point.

Don't really care all that much though.

I've pre ordered the 360 version.

Every RAGE running game was better on 360, so i'm basing my decision on that.

LA Noire was better on PS3, but it wasn't running on RAGE, if i remember correctly.

On the flip side, the PS3 has free online, but i wouldn't be playing much of it anyway.

What is the point of having a massive massive map if its empty?

The definition of "empty" is not really clearcut.
Flying a plane in a miniscule map sucks ass.
Besides, maintaining some proportions between areas helps selling you the geography as real.
If there is a character living in the outskirts, these outskirts have to be isolated enough from the city to sell you that idea.

PS4 version when it comes out.
This.

The inevitable next gen port will be the game it was always meant to be.

Playing this gen will just annoy the fuck out of me I'm sure of it. I want a draw distance of more than 20ft and fairly consistent performance, not crashing into trees that appear seconds later, urgh.

PS3. Even though Rockstar games have a history of running better on the 360, the differences aren't enough for me to justify turning that system on again.

360 version.

My PS3 sounds like it's ready for takeoff when playing Last of Us and it feels super sluggish wen navigating the XMB and other menus. It's a phatty launch model. Probably ready to retire it after Last of Us and Beyond in October.

My 360 is still fairly new and a slim model that I got as a gift. Considering I'll playing GTA V a hell of a lot come September, I feel more confident playing it on that. Plus my 360 friends list is a lot more active than my PSN list so 360 will work better for me with multiplayer.

They've been demoing it on the PS3, though. Hopefully the 360 version isn't a mess.

PS4 version. As this is the part of a generations cycle where i stop and set my eyes on the future systems. I'm selling my old to fund my new.

I can't see them not having a PS4/Xbone version coming out shortly after the consoles launch. At least I'd like to hope not.

I guess it's weird to me that this hasn't already been touted as a ps3/360/ps4/xbone title yet.
