Hunter X Hunter is amazing. Watch Steins;Gate and Naoki Urasawa's Monster as well.
Hellsing Ultimate.
Yes. It has a few problems but the pace is a lot better. It get's rid of the shitty fillers in the original. The script and voice acting is also much better in the English dub.
Am I right in assuming that everyone recommending Hunter x Hunter here is recommending the new one?
I loved the original, but haven't watched the new stuff. How does it stack up?
Also, Dragon Ball is superior to Dragon Ball Z
It doesn't even have the original soundtrack. The music made DBZ for me.
Those are the kind of animes I like but I'm open to anything that isn't creepy.
And are One Piece and DBZ worth starting?
Thanks!

and what is flcl?

It's a bizarre little 6 episode show with some crazy good animation and soundtrack. A lot of people think it's phenomenal series. I don't think it's as good as they say, but I won't deny it's still enjoyable and really well made.
I've heard Sword Art Online gets super creepy.
First half is neat, and good.
Second half is awful, creepy, and just all around bad.
what? no. It might no be as interesting as the first season...but it doesn't suddenly turn into an awful creepy show that is all around bad. why does everything ongafthe internet has to be either awesome or terrible. whatever happened to not that good or mediocre?

my answer, every time, all the time.
Trying to get into some anime and I'm looking for the absolute best.
I've already watched/am watching Naruto, Trigun, FMA, Death Note, Samurai Champloo, Gurren Lagaan, Sword Art Online, Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop.
