For every chapter of content there is 3-4 filler "motivation" chapter. Pulling numbers out of my ass, but that's how it feels.

To everyone else: There's so much amazing manga out there that's separate from the big three you guys are missing on, Lack of quality manga should not be a complaint for anyone.

Except there wasn't. The fact that Kishimoto comes out the next day to say something to that effect has nothing to do with whether there was at the time of the argument. There is now, but there wasn't then.

Hell, I loved Naruto but the series completely lost me somewhere through the Shinobi War arc. I read synopsis of the ongoing plot every few months but I didn't read an entire chapter since fight with Itachi and Pein which was 2 years ago or so I believe.
I'll read the final chapter or two of the series but this war crap had been going on for WAY WAY WAY too long.

Too late. The series has really gone down the shitter this year. Not that it had been great prior to that for awhile, but in the past 9 months or so it has become a complete joke.
Conan's plot has been moving at a pretty decent pace for the last few years. I don't have any real complaints there, and I'm sure it will resolve eventually.
Hajime no Ippo is the one I'd be more worried about. That series I don't know if it will ever reach an ending.

Naruto and Bleach at least can be entertaining. One Piece is painfully boring.
2nd half wasn't that bad. That ending though was horrible. I will say that the entire manga peaked when
Kei single-handedly took out pretty much all of those monsters right before the big "it's all aliens" reveal. It was one hell of a bad ass fight.

Sasuke vs Naruto fights is still one of the best anime fights of all time (in a series).

It was so terrible. Beautifully drawn but the story....
One Piece is far from boring, Bleach and Naruto are a lot more boring. How you can not find those to series boring baffles me.

Kishi cannibalized his character. Made the most least likely guy to turn evil, evil. Come on he was crushed by a boulder. Even his explanation is half assed. He somehow "phased", got Hashirama DNA steriods, and train for a year to fight the 4th? Shit is unbelievable.The part where he was preaching about the world to Nagato was laughable. Nagato suffered way more hardship than him. Just because friendzone girl Rin died doesn't mean you suffered the most buddy!

Pretty obvious for over a year it's been at it's end game after it explored all it's established plot points that's been brought up in the past, itachi story,narutos parents story & obito story all wrapped up, with Madara ,sasuke and the 9 tails reaching there end.

I tried to get into One Piece, once the time skip happened. I also watched the anime Ti'll skypea and it's so boring. The jokes are painfully unfunny (Bleach and Naruto's humor is also pretty bad, Naruto was really funny in part one though), entire chapters full of dialog yet nothing happens, millions of stories of secondary characters no one gives a shit crammed at the same time. It's not unreadable like the actions chapters in Bleach when you pretty much need to watch the anime for any of it to make sense but it does requires an effort to start skipping the pages.
Also, none of the Strawhats are at risk, nothing will happen to them. There's like zero tension, it's like I'm watching YuYu Hakusho or the power rangers.
11/10 would Hokage again.

- there were some OVAs in the past years that featured Toriko x One Piece x Naruto, so basically Bleach was dethroned. (plus wasn't it in the bottom-three in popularity for a while?)
- but then again Toriko's plot has been completely all over the place. He's been doing things like having the characters fight random giant monsters. i think it was done to boost sales? also, i don't know about you, but i can't keep track of which evil organization they're fighting anymore.
- Beelzebub isn't good either. It doesn't have a coherent mega-arc - the pacing seems more comedic and short than your typical Shonen epic.
- HxH is on hiatus but I have no expectation that Togashi will ever end this book properly. That last chapter felt like such a massive troll -- lol the world is actually huge and here's a new super-villain! In my mind, I'm going to treat this series as already ended. Gon achieved his dream. The end.
- So, yeah, I don't know. Shonen Jump needs a new epic fighting comic.

It's because it was deliberately dragged on.
Obito became the 10 tail host, did jack shit and preached, killed only fodders, and lost the power. This went on for a huge chunk of the manga. Oh I forgot the whole crying about Rin thing. He's been doing that since he was unmasked. Nothing really happened at the end. Madara was suppose to sacrifice him to revive, but yeah....
, but I did take the last chapter as a finale so I'm not disappointed.I thought I read somewhere that he had to condense his original Mario work from years back into 40-50 pages.

I remember getting to the point that guy who didn't understand feelings joined up, I rolled my eyes and pretty much soon quit. Did he die? If so, good.

Granted, Skypia is the toughest arc to get through, but it has nice callbacks once in a while. By stopping there and then picking the manga after the time skip you missed out on all the good stuff.
