Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution to release 2014

Another one? Jesus.

I really wish the GNT series would revive, as I doubt CC2 will do anything to fix their crappy battle system. Narutimate Hero/Accel series was so much better.
 
These games look so amazing, better than the anime. I have UNS2 on PS3 and played a bit of 3 on PC in 1080p. Looks so incredible.
 
Man screw the Storm and Clash games, what CC2 needs to do is make a true Ultimate Ninja 6. Would be perfect for Vita and/or 3DS. That was the best Naruto series in terms of gameplay and fanservice. I'd also settle for an HD remaster collection of UN3 + UN5.
 
Is it PS4? Or even crossgen? What? PS3? *goes back to sleep on the franchise as a whole*

I decided to pass on Naruto's manga until it finally wrapped up, to pass on the anime until they Dragon Ball Kai it 10 years from now, and since I'm soooo far behind on the games, to ignore them until they hit PS4.

Or... Or CyberConnect as codev for a Pokemon game... man I swear their fighting style gameplay would fit Pokemon and would make such a decent new series of Pokegames
 
Man, I still haven't picked up UNS3: Full Burst yet.

Now another pops up on me?

I have the first three games (UNS, UNS2, and UNS:Generations)

I guess I'll pick up Full Burst soon and play that, I'm guessing Revolution is similar to Generations in that it's just a massive roster with no story modes. It's just the game to have everyone in the game for the sake of having everyone.

Unless it wraps up the Manga (which from what I read is approaching it's end...I think)

According to the scan, Kishimoto is designing some original characters for the game, that will be unveiled at Jump Festa. Going by the silhouettes in the scan, they look like joke characters, so I'm not expecting much.

They're also bringing combo ougis from Accel 2/Hero 5 back.

If they bring back PTS Tenten the community will bitch about her jutsu unless they nerf'd it. I hope they nerf it because then I can wreck people with her without them thinking I'm going to spam.

Ninjas are cooler than pirates. And Naruto is better than One Piece. Mind you, this is on a scale where you're both several levels beneath YYH and HxH, but there you go.

Art in Naruto > Art in One Piece

I've never watched or read anything related to one piece and I never will because I think the art is horrible.

Pirates had always being inferior to Ninjas.
One Piece main character don't even wear a Pirate Hat.
Everyone in One Piece looks like the joke character that nobody likes.

They're starting to pump these out too fast. It used to be every 2 years, now it's annual. Plus DLC add-ons like that Kabuto thing. Why not just wait for the War to finish rather than having another game covering only a third of it?

I have a feeling that this will be another Generations though. More characters to catch up to the manga, but no boss battles/story stuff. Will probably skip and wait for Storm 4. Which hopefully covers the entire War and is on the PS4.
 
According to Siliconera it doesn't contain Storm so either they're translating wrongly or it is an actual Ultimate Ninja game.

You shouldn't be playing these games online anyway. The storm series is so ridiculously broken, it's not worth talking about in any sort of competitive way. These are fanservice games first and foremost

Well never be there again. Sucks, the original line if games were amazing.
 
Really hope they will release a Naruto game on the PS4 soon. But judging by this game's release...I guess the fastest would be in 2015 :(

Congratulations on your announcement for Revolution. Your Storm games have had a nice run. I'm interested to see what you'll come up with for Revolution. As a Naruto fan, I'm interested in Kishimoto's involvement and "100" characters, but that doesn't equate to an automatic buy. I want you to know that this is a game, and it should play well.

Unfortunately, the recent Storm games have been surprisingly subpar. They look beautiful, but they have become increasingly boring to play. Consider bringing back gameplay from the original Narutimate line that came out on the PS2. Those games were quite fun.

I cannot give you my support for rehashes. No substantial change=no buy. You can tweak characters, add new cool-looking characters, and add new modes. But if the game has the same rehash feel as the previous games, no buy. Revolution is the 5th installment in 5-6 years, so it seems unlikely you'll change core mechanics. Storm 3 sure didn't change much. But I guess we'll see. Really though, If Storm Revolution turns out to be yet another rehash, that would be a sad thing. Especially since you created such excellent games for the PS2. What happened CC2? You had a fantastic formula in the Accel/Hero series. I'm all for making changes to the STORM series, but why abandon 2D goodness? I guess its up to the fans to decide. I for one will speak with my wallet.

3D STORM just sells so much. But CC2's reputation and games have suffered as a result. The Original Storm was a fun experiment, but the subsequent games didn't get much better.

Heres hoping that Revolution is true to its name. The STORM formula needs a serious revamp.

I don't. I hate the online and feel like it's a waist of time. I skipped Generations because of this.

All you people are ffoolig yourselves if you really think Naruto is about ninjas.

The mainchar wears a bright orange jumpsuit.
Artstyle is opinion.
Writing in Naruto is also really horrible.
