It has been a family tradition to watch this movie for years. My father passed away this fall, so this year will be a bit different watching it this year without someone to share the quotes with.

I picked this up for my tree this year:

If you go to the site, you can hear the audio clip that plays when you press the button on it.

We're gonna press on! And we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fuckin' Kaye!

And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nut house.

I've watched this every year since my childhood. The Lampoons movies were always on in our house haha..

Last few years I've been adding Bad Santa to the Christmas movie roster, but it's always Lampoons #1.

Got to see it in the cinema when it first came out, used to watch it multiple times a year it was that good. In more recent years though I only watch it once over the christmas period (our local tv network plays it on christmas eve or christmas night each year!).

My favorite scene is when the dog barfs "he's just yacking on a bone" :-D, I can do a good imitation of the noise.

I might be in the minority, but I don't think the censored version is any less funny than the normal version.

I'm not a Christmas film fan but this film is on another level. Makes me laugh every time. The cat getting electrocuted and the inedible turkey are my favourite bits.

One of the greatest Christmas movies of all-time. I can't believe they're trying to reboot the series. It's going to be a disaster.

No....No.....No........!

I just watched this the other day. Mixed up some egg nog with Southern Comfort. Good times.

Edit: Well I just looked up the info on the "reboot" and it seems to just continue the story with Rusty grown up, married to Cristina Applegate and taking his kids to Wally World. I guess John Francis Daley is behind it, who I think was a good actor in Freaks and Geeks and Bones....but I have no idea how he is as a writer....his writing credits look pretty bad. Horrible Bosses 2, Burt Wonderstone....OK, Gonzo is right, its going to be a disaster.

Love this movie, watch it every year during December.

One new thing that I noticed this year: in the scene where Art looks at Russ's centerfold on the ceiling, you can see a poster of two tortoises humping as the camera pans up.

The movie (in HD, for keeps) has been free for Canadians on the Google Play store for the season, and still is at the moment.
