Yes we do. It's because Naughty Dog's number one priority was to own the chuds.
The guys I was quoting complained about lack of make up.Who gives a shit about make up?
Because her actress in real life is bald, and looks perfectly fine. Why she needs to be bald?
I mean this thread is a monument to her point lolWas she laughing at her audience.

Don't be mistaken. The guys I was quoting complained about lack of make up.

She was bald in Mortal Kombat 2, not a single complaint from the movie audience.

Once again the movie audience is 1000x more mature than the gaming audience. Cant see a bald woman without having full blown meltdowns. Just pathetic.
If the shoe fits......Was she laughing at her audience.

Sorry, but she annoyed us in the movie too, because she doesn't even remotely look like Jade. At first I didn't even realize it and jokingly said to my friends that she looks like the bald goblin from the new Sony game. The guys I was quoting complained about lack of make up.

I agree with you. I think this will be their best yet. Can't wait to see more next weekOh, and just to go against the grain, I wouldn't be surprised if this was Naughty Dogs best game yet. With a combination of game mechanics from Uncharted and Last of Us + all the amazing animation techniques but due to it being a futuristic Sci-fi game so doesn't have to be as grounded in reality as Uncharted or Last of Us, this could be something very special (and also, soundtrack by Reznor and Ross)
The only people complaining were gamers. MK is a gaming IP. Gamers complained.Sorry, but she annoyed us in the movie too, because she doesn't even remotely look like Jade. At first I didn't even realize it and jokingly said to my friends that she looks like the bald goblin from the new Sony game.
Not a single complaint from the movie audience? Even the movie director responded to the backlash, because fans complained so much.
She was a side character in the film, like the third, almost 4th string female. And she played a baddie. So in that context the shaved head look wasn't as disruptive. It's practically all I've ever seen that actress do.The only people complaining were gamers. MK is a gaming IP. Gamers complained.
Movie-only people didn't give a single fuck. More mature audience, capable of handling different looking women.
If you went to see the movie and came out saying wHy WaZ sHe BaLd then you need to touch grass.
And now guess who mainly goes to see the second part of a video game movie adaptation? Right, gamers. Her appearance completely ruins it for me and I don't feel bad about that or pretend it doesn't bother me. If that makes me a bad person, so be it, but please spare me the worn-out "touch grass / get laid / incel" bullshit bingo. The only people complaining were gamers. MK is a gaming IP. Gamers complained.

So you all recovered this topic just to talk again about hair...
Cool
Or we can laugh at the woke stuff and still enjoy the good stuff in the game, things are not always just black or white.Everyone who thinks ND is trash and Intergalactic will be woke af should pledge to never play this game ever again.
even if it's a 10/10
Not really cheap, they're the heaviest feature of their games.Cheap tricks are not comparable to RT lighting. What are we talking about?
ND was smart using them on PS3 and PS4, but they don't have this excuse on PS5 and beyond.
Resident Evil: Requiem Path Tracing flashlight bounce is almost non-existent most of the time. At times it's hard to believe is there at all. It's very likely this square below would be entirely black in Requiem.mainly stuff that now looks much better and cohesive when you simply have the power to not have to resort to workarounds.....
Essentially, that's true, but as a player, I don't see any downside to a developer using techniques that are so well-executed that I don't even notice them. If these "cheap tricks" are also performance-efficient and free up resources for other features, I'll gladly take them. And as I said, I simply find it more exciting to see a developer perfect their craft and conjure up real visual treats even from weak hardware.Cheap tricks are not comparable to RT lighting. What are we talking about?
Not really cheap, they're the heaviest feature of their games.
And to be fair, they're also the only developer in the world who did something like this to such extent.

Of course, it is more accurate when noticeable as the bounce casts its own indirect shadows, unlike ND tech.

Of course not,
again, its literally only gamers who have ever taken issue to bald women in entertainment.
Bald women have been a thing forever, and Intergalactic is LITERALLY the first time i've ever seen backlash for it.
Complete bitch made. Its no wonder only gamers take games seriously. We are not a serious audience.
There was a TON of discourse about this at the time.![]()

Violently defecting everytime legitimate concern is voiced.

You are right, a good 60% of Naughty Dog criticism comes from fanboy and haters.. but a good 40% at least comes from BIG FANS like myself and the author of the video above Robin, fans who simply hate with passion what the fuck this little maggot Druckmann has turned what was our favorite studio into.

You're insane if you don't think their media doesn't have some kind of agenda. It just is missing the stuff that triggers you specifically. Just because you agree with their agenda doesn't mean it isn't an agenda though.Except in Asia and the Middle East, where the agenda is basically nonexistent.
They do have a political agenda, but I mean they don't have, for example, a DEI.You're insane if you don't think their media doesn't have some kind of agenda. It just is missing the stuff that triggers you specifically. Just because you agree with their agenda doesn't mean it isn't an agenda though.

True. The political agenda is present in all games, all movies, all platforms, and every TV network in the West.
I don't need to "consume" new stuff. If you justify watching content without an agenda, then the problem you'll have is that you won't consume anything.
Not true. The question here is whether the agenda ruins the game.
Is there an agenda in The Last of Us Part II?
Yes, but the characters are so well-developed
Damn true.and damn, the game feels so damn good to play
True.with a 10/10 technical aspect
Not true at all. I wish it was.that I can obviously ignore the political aspect and fully enjoy the experience.
I OF COURSE don't support them in any way, shape, or form. I have a thousand movies in physical format spanning the entire film history, and good pre-insanity TV shows to entertain me for a lifetime.but do you stop watching movies because of that then?
Judging by your Avatar, youd change Vegeta's classic hair too. Posts disqualified.

I would tether her with silken braided rope through her nose ring, lead her round like the pride of the barnyard and feed her pinecones and berries like she was my own
I edit posted a 3rd image in that post you quoted that may change your mind.Judging by your Avatar, youd change Vegeta's classic hair too. Posts disqualified.
Not really interested in the game, but I sure hope they've toned down the woke after all that backlash when they revealed it.
ND has a lot of talent and it would be a shame to have it wasted on more political stuff rather than making fun games.
imagine bragging about not playing The Last of UsJust two cents from this nobody who hasn't played any of Naughty Dog's games (but thought the Uncharted series looked amazing), intergalatic is a hard pass from me because of the premise and woke retarded looking protagonist.

complete masterpiece and and all time classic
I pledge to not play this game. I loved the last of us 1, the story in 2 was terrible, and with the direction this is going I have decided I'm not going to support it.Everyone who thinks ND is trash and Intergalactic will be woke af should pledge to never play this game ever again.

What do you consider woke when they revealed it? absolutely nothing in the trailer itself alludes to it being wokeNot really interested in the game, but I sure hope they've toned down the woke after all that backlash when they revealed it.
