I think the issue is all the recent history of Sony and its games including ND. Hence the pushback at what appears yet another girlboss in a Sony game with even next GoW going the same route.

Like I said, the bar for calling a game "woke" ain't exactly high. So yes, he is right that folks will label it as woke even with the slightest reference. But I agree with you that there are levels to this. The crap they put into Spider-man 2 and Veilguard was just a different league. I do not think for a second we see amatuer hour shit like that in Intergalactic.



Druckman directed only a couple of episodes so I'm fairly confident in saying that didn't dominate his time as much as Factions did. I agree that he should have been directed to focus on games, not TV.

Maybe, I really don't know how much it kept him from making games. The rest of Naughty Dog was still working on games regardless and seems like a significant chunk of that was wasted on live service.

I've also worked with people with weird haircuts, tattoos, piercings etc and they were far from "woke", had normal lives, married with kids, etc...
This place sees one piercing or one haircut that's not appropriate for sunday church and all hell breaks lose. Even my grandma would be more accepting and with less prejudices than this lol.

Its more likely because Sony has worked with her before (Uncharted movie). I was just pointing out to everyone saying blah blah blah about her appearance eg. they made her bald because of X, no, they made her bald because the voice actress is bald, if the voice actress had dreads the ingame character would have had dreads, nothing more (and they didn't have to, its a videogame, they have full control over the look, they could do whatever they want, but I personal really like the idea of making it more movie like having that actual voice actors look like the ingame characters). Maybe you are correct, maybe there is a political agenda, but I just don't see it.

Here I am with the greatest rpg in my 47 years in Crimson desert at 230 hours, platinumed expedition 33 as another one of the greatest rpgs ever, finishing Indiana Jones, have lego batman to dive into, myst and riven remakes to replay, finishing dragon quest 7, 3 and 1 and 2 remakes that are absolutely top tier, pragmata to play, starfield is doing it's Bethesda thing, platinumed marvel rivals, outer worlds 2 platinumed, wukong platinumed and was fucking insane, battlefield 6 is awesome, terminator 2d no fate platinumed was awesome, days gone remaster, octopath traveler 0 to dig into, hell is us platinumed and was amazing, silksong to eventually play, yotei is better than expected, Forza 6 dropped, atomfall platinum was awesome, metal gear solid 3 remake platinumed and awesome, tainted grail an awesome out of no where game, kingdom come deliverance 2 is fucking amazing, mouse for hire looks awesome I need to buy, an onslaught of 2D side scrollers like ninja gaiden and shinobi, I can keep going...
