Yeah, instead he just never went further than that round in the playoffs for the rest of his career.
lol do you know something we don't? shitIf by winning you mean being an adulterer whorapedsettled out of court for cheating on his wife and is currently leading a team that's below 500, then sure. Ok.
Kobe stay winning.
lol please

Kobe = Anal Rapist
would be more accurate but hey he beat the charges
MJ built the franchise. You could literally apply this to any player including MJ and Lebron.
Having dantoni makes your statement irrelevantMJ built the franchise.
LeBron is more talented than anyone ever, but is of weak character.
Kobe's had various great big men to help carry him to championships. He now has Dwight, Gasol, Nash, and is struggling to make the playoffs.
Goddman this is so sad.
MJ built the franchise.
LeBron is more talented than anyone ever, but is of weak character.

In what world did Pau carry Kobe to two 'ships?

Yeah, but Kobe has 5 rings, so it evens out.
5 rings. None of this matters.

Are you counting on everyone forgetting the "It's on me!" thing from the 2007 playoffs, or did you just forget it?
How bout bosh?no one says pau carried anything
but he was a top 5 pf in the league at the time
When McGrady lit the league on fire and lost in the first round, he didn't cry like a nancy in the 3rd quarter of an elimination game then take his ball and go home.

That's the difference between Champions and losers. Champions don't take losing very well. Losers accept it and sink into obscurity.
I'm not arguing against it taking help to win championships, but some have had/needed more help than others. MJ had Pippen, but he was always unquestionably the leader and built that franchise. LeBron was expected to do the same for Cleveland, but couldn't, and bailed to a super team.I can only give you the years when he was with Shaq, as he wasn't the number 1 guy on the team. Those other 2 ships he had Pau, but what other top 10 player in the history of the game haven't had help? MJ: Pippen, Magic: Kareem, Worthy Wilt: Baylor, West You can literally do this for any star that has won a championship.
It's not like playing with a Power Forward or Center suddenly disqualifies you from being as good a player as others
Championship teams are just that. Teams. MJ had fucking Scottie Pippen ffs. Lebron went to the Heat that had a HOFer in Wade and brought Bosh with him.

Exactly. The Kobe hate is absurd.
Why have you only won one MVP?
Because I played with Shaq. Its that simple. A lot of the time we cancelled each other out. I sacrificed a lot playing with him. I really did. I did it for the success of the team. If I never played with him, my numbers would have been ridiculous.
Usually self-appointed nicknames dont really stick, but Black Mamba has had real staying power.
Well, actually I didnt come up with it. I think I was playing ball in the park in New York and they just started calling me that, and it just stuck.
you can't criticize people that you like?
lol how did I know this would be the T-mac Kobe thing.
Heres the full interview btw
This is the more newsworthy part actually.
Also I did not know this:
Kobe runs his centers out of town, Dwight is going to be his next victim.
First off, Kobe never had to do what KG, McGrady, Iverson, and a lot of that generation had to do because he never had to play 1 on 5 for entire stretches of his career. That's why he's been around for so long. He's only had to put a team on his back for one real season and he was clearly not about that life after seeing how things played out. Saying that Kobe had it easy and able to preserve himself by playing for the Lakers is simply acknowledging a fact. It'd be like saying that QBs have it easier playing in today's NFL and the existence of a "hitters parks" in baseball - these things exist. By not talking about them, you can't make them go away. You can nit pick any great player to death, so come on with this silliness. Kobe's career has proven far better than T Mac and the vast majority of NBA players.
dayum tmac is salty as fuck lmao.T-mac is getting shat on in the CBA these days. When those guys are giving you the mutombo finger Kobe won.

"I almost won an MVP with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown on my team"
"I missed the playoffs with Dwight Howard and Steve Nash on my team"
"I almost won a championship with 4 HoFers on the same team, plus the greatest coach ever. But we lost to a team with no superstar.""I almost won an MVP with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown on my team"
"I missed the playoffs with Dwight Howard and Steve Nash on my team"
The ultimate problem with arguing sports is that it always comes down to woulda-coulda-shoulda.
If you want to go by the book, it's inarguable that Kobe was a much more successful player. Most likely better.
If you want to play the one-upmanship game, then you can debate irrelevant points forever.
No one is saying Kobe didn't take any Ls in his career. But he's a first ballot HoF with a fine ass wife who'll take him back admid many instances of cheating, while McGrady is getting sonned in China.
And he's currently having the best (most efficient) season of his career while the other all-star talent around him is having their worst, and their coach is completely lost.
T-mac is getting shat on in the CBA these days. When those guys are giving you the mutombo finger Kobe won.

If you can't see the slip you're blind.
bron would run him overDoes anyone in here believe that Kobe can easily beat Lebron in 1v1? Because kobe said that in the same interview, and that sounded even more absurd than the Tmac comment
