Trump, next week, when more of the smoke from his Russian connections billows out:

"BUT WHAT ABOUT HILLARY'S EMAILS"

At times like this I wonder what it'd be like in Trump's head. He has money and opportunity beyond belief but seems completely utterly hollow and miserable despite his photo op attempts to show otherwise. Compared to someone like, say Richard Branson.

He's constantly angry, spiteful, combative, paranoid, suspicious, reads weird conspiracy theories online late at night and an overall fucked up human. His parents must have really messed him up.

How do Trump fans rationalize the fact that he has objectively lied about and now deliberately and obviously hiding something really bad in his taxes? In what way is that strong or swamp drainy?

And does the CIA or FBI need a warrant to examine them? What legal tools are available to examine them if there's probable cause? Campaign or Trump individually or both.

Obama could have released them but chose not to. Urhhh

I mean...does he? We really don't know how much money he really has, and a lot of people speculate that he's up to his eyeballs in debt. I guess he does have a lot of opportunities to start stuff, but hell, he fails at pretty much everything he does. He failed at a Casino. He failed a business where people literally just give you money.

They were alt-Reich agitators. Possibly paid too. They've done this before and they will be doing it to future protests as well.

Does orange turd even grasp the irony of what he is saying? Is he just that fucking stupid?
He doesn't read books, ever. He's been interviewed about it and can't name what he's reading or has read outside of All Quiet on the Western Front, because he never does it. So, yeah.

I say this hoping people here recognize if this resembles them, and I hope they do something about how stupid they sound talking about things they've never researched or thought about. :/ I see you guys in threads! Read books, don't be like Trump!

I mean, nobody likes him. He has no genuine relationships. He's never earned anything. He's too insecure to recognize his problems, so he directs his hate onto others. He'll never be happy and his legacy is a series of embarrassments.

Funny moment: When asked about books on his desk, he showed us "Adams v Jefferson" by John Ferling. We asked if we should read it. "I wouldn't," he said.

Sorry as soon as he filed his campaign paperwork for 2020, it's no longer "the election is over". He's already technically and legally campaigning for 2020 now.

OP is missing a major part of the story; look at the time stamps on the tweets

Trump goes from "I won the election, it was the best election ever, such an election!" to "The election is over, who cares about the election?!" in the span of 7 minutes (less than an hour after wishing everyone a Happy Easter, though I'm gonna bet that's a staffer).

He's unhinged.

Over and over, he shows that protests and criticism work on him. He pays attention and responds. So, we have to keep doing it.

When Trump lashes out about something, he's already internalized it.

I love that he thinks the electoral college has only ever helped democrats when it has only been republicans who lost the popular vote and still ended up president thanks to this archaic rule.

Trump is basically ticking every box so far for a tyrant and a dictator. I know people in this thread are mocking him for saying this, but I think people should take it a bit more seriously. He turning his ignorant base and supporters against the media and the opposition. He actively seeking to destroy any merit or legitimacy to the protesters and anyone against him. This is very serious IMO and he is following in the foot steps of Erdogan and Putin. They turned their countries into an autocracy.

The thing of it is he doesn't have that power and hasn't really shown he would ever be competent enough to gain that amount of power.

Lol. Ever had that experience where you type a reply to a thread on gaf and you re read it and think "nah" and delete your message?

I can't possibly even imagine what messages Trump has typed out and thought to himself "nah I better not".

His administration isn't even stable. How would he plan a coup? Not to mention he keeps appointing some establishment neocons in places he would then need support of to take over.

The election is clearly not over in most people's minds.

Over half the country does not believe or accept that he won the election fairly.

Over half the country did not vote for him.

He's under an FBI investigation into colluding with Russians to hack his opponents and leak their private email.

He lied about his tax returns and continues to do so.

I flipped past a news report of this and my *nine* year old heard this headline mentioned and said out loud "isn't he the guy who paid for people to go to his events?"

Wouldn't they though? The GOP has been exceptionally loyal to Trump when you consider just how bad his administration has been.

They'd be fine with a coup if it meant eternal GOP power.

I look forward to 4 straight years of protests and Trump complaining about protests while holding fundraisers and rallies.

We need to get into his head.
