Look at the "Internal Photos 1" from the FCC report and you can clearly see that there's no extra room inside the system.

Oh well, I'll take a more ergonomic DS that has this problem over the current DS with it's sharp edges and proper fitting GBA carts, anyday.

The cap is a nice touch, and it doesnt look cheapo like I though it would. Good enough.

Yeah, I wanted white, but when I saw that, the navy looks great for the brain training stuff. The contrast with the white screen really works well. I'm getting one for the mrs so I reckon two different colours will work well.

If Nintendo designers were clever, at the very least you should be able to stick another DS cart inside that end cap. That is if they were clever....

If/when there is another DS revision the GBA slot will probably be taken out entirely.

With Nintendo's forthcoming game download service, you could easily download old GB/GBA titles onto the DS using such a service. All Nintendo would have to do is include some type of internal memory (ala Rev) or a SD Card slot (much smaller than a GBA slot).
