It depends on your outlook on the "Mac experience" and user interface. iWork has it, Office does not. As far as basic end-user functionality goes, they are on par. If you already own Office, then iWork is superfluous. If someone has no Office suite, then I would recommend iWork hands down.

I use Pages and Numbers daily.

No photos, but just picked up a brand spanking new Dell laptop (*cough* Alienware). Ridicule me all you want, paying for the name, etc, but I got it for $300 off as an open box, so paid $1500 for it. Expensive, but I figure it wasnt too much of a premium. Beat the hell out of the comparable ASUS they were offering for $1800. Radeon 5850, i7 720 processor clocked at 1.6, 4GB ram, etc. A suitable replacement for my desktop, to say the least. Gonna be moving around quite a bit for the next couple years (new job, gonna be changing homes every 4 months or so for the next little while) so taking the desktop with me was not a terribly enticing idea. Figured I would just get a heavy duty laptop to cover my ass instead. Gonna be spending the next couple days transferring everything over from the desktop to the laptop, but right now I'm very happy with my purchase. The battery life will probably be shit, but I plan on using it as a desktop replacement and not a laptop, so it doesnt worry me too much.

Also, Fallout: New Vegas (which is fantastic, by the way), and, most importantly, a new job! First job out of university, so I am pretty excited. Start on the 8th, can't wait to see how things go.

You might be opening it the wrong way. When open, the wide side of the slats should be pointed at you, not the narrow side.

Yeah be careful, grab from the top and pull it sideways gently. Don't force it or you'll break it. I made the mistake of doing that with the humongous fan I bought at the Japan festival and ended up breaking it.

Now to go get tangled in some epic yarn.

this release is north american (funimation) so *shrug*
region lock A, 1080p dual language/subs and 5.1

A few Funimation titles have Region A and B on them, so it really depends. My copy of FMP! and Fumoffu are AB and TSR is just A.

ps3 version has framerate issues and the 360 screen tearing towards the top of the screen If i had to choose again I'd go 360 version
