Huge fan of the movie, so I was excited when I found them. One of the Three Storms was also at Dragon*Con:
I'm assuming he was Lightning, but don't recall that exact outfit on any of the three.
Anyway, MegaCon this weekend, so I'll be back with more pics soon. Kind of curious as to why more of the well-known cosplayers are going to a smaller event in Maryland, but I'm sure I'll find something worth sharing in Florida.

Jessica is a vapid attention seeker for sure, but she nails Juliet here. Also, she's the only one in those shots that has any hips.

I have no idea of the backstory of the other two girls but for Jessica at least, it seems like she's a dedicated cosplayer and puts forth real effort in her costumes. Seeing as how this is a *cosplay* thread then your comment could be extrapolated to pretty much every single person featured in this thread, no?

I think it's Aquelle's middle shot that works for people, very much like a game's animation still, but it's probably just luck, not some sort of skill (lol) involved, could have happened on any of them but I doubt tons of time was spent on each just for this.
Aren't all cosplayers essentially "vapid attention seekers?"

You generally want to keep your cosplays simple if you're at an artist alley. I've had a friend who do a No-Face costume at an artist alley, and it has given him fits at times.

Thanks! yeah that was my only rule for wearing cosplay, I wanted something I could actually wear. The shirt was comfy and warm, had no problems throughout the day, I was even running around and shit.

Not as good as the other one recently posted ITT, but I still like it. Just wished she had used a real guitar, but that would have been an expensive prop if she wanted to get one that looked close. Or more expensive than her outfit anyway.
I hope to see more FLCL as time goes on.

A bass guitar is still a guitar. A guitar is just a stringed instrument. I just didn't feel the need to specify bass really.
