Download the game from any of the mirrors. Then just run the exe to install. Once it's installed load up steam. If you already have steam loaded up you'll need to exit out and restart steam. Then just find the game in your games list and run it like normal. If you don't have the SDK it'll prompt the download automatically for you so you don't have to search for anything. If you already happen to have it then the game will load and play away!

Ah, in the meantinme, the website is up again. Thanks for your help, man. The problem is I have no prompt to download the SDK, and it seems it isn't available on steam, despite looking for it. It seems I have to own a game to get it.

Just a warning, be careful if you play with vertopci. I think he's on GAF, but he called me a whiny bitch, got warned by the server owners, friendly fired me once, and then TKed me in spawn and ran from the server. :lol At least friendly fire is now disabled on the server, it should prevent griefing for a bit.

However, there is one thing that bugs me. How come none of this music is coming up during the game? The only music that plays is the victory theme at the end of a round.

Bought the OST and play it in the background on real low volume, so good and pumps me up so much. The music built up perfectly on the office like level where you can start at the roof, jumped down the side railing of the building into the other guys start zone they didnt know what hit them it was the best experience I've had in the game. Lots of secretish vents or access panels and things most people haven't seemed to start checking regularly yet.

I've come to the conclusion I think the larger the map the more I tend to like it. Skyline and Ghost are probably my two favorite maps and both of those maps are on the large side.

We were playing transit tonight in one of the few 32 player servers, and while i had fun I thought the level was a cluster f*ck with that many people.

So far I like this game. Its very tough though. I always freak out when an enemy using cloak attacks me.
I really love the ghost mechanic. Communication is extremely important when someone has the ghost. I just need to find somoene who is good at giving out directions on where the enemy is.
The overall shooting mechanic is done just right. Enemies don't sponge up the damage and its not too harsh where an enemy would kill you if he shot your hand. I wish the game had some proper sighting system but I could forgive that omission because the game is set in the future and the people probably have some kinda hand to gun sight interface that gives them crosshairs.

Finally got around to playing it. Assault first few rounds but didn't seem to enjoy it for some reason, switched over to Support in a bigger map and was having a blast. Felt right at home for some reason.

Few teething problems due to my own inexperience but overall I really enjoyed it. A shame that not everyone realises the advantages of being in a squad but hopefully the game picks up more steam. Then again it's a Monday night.

It feels really freaky bouncing back and forth between this and Quake Live. Takes a round or two to adjust.

Hope they have new levels soon! Digging the medium sized maps.

I think it's just a glitch. One time I threw a frag across the map and when it blew up I died. There's still a few things for the team to work out; the grenade glitches, teammate markers not showing up, lean being glitchy, etc. I'm sure the team plans on patching all this stuff by the time all the maps get released. A better weapon select screen with more info would be nice, as well.

By the way, some random noob recognised me from gaf, and just said "that's funny".

After playing a bit, it seems support might be a bit OP compared to the rest. Those smoke grenades can really fuck up recon and assault.

You probably picked up a frag grenade and didn't realize it was selected.

They seem to stack in order, so if you have a smoke grenade then pick up a frag, then another smoke, you have to throw them in that order, because there doesn't appear to be any way to switch between them (at least I haven't found out how).

Looks like crouching doesn't affect accuracy at all. Looking down the scope is the only way to tighten up your shots and make that first shot count.
