Haha, you got owned by a NeoTokyoNoob and whatnot. I hate people screaming in microphones.

I joined friends playing on a "mature" server (no people under 16 allowed on microphones), and they had rules like no singing, humming, or jacking off on the mic. People were still singing and still had high-pitched voices though. =( And everyone was being all srs bzns and threatening to teamkill teammates if they didn't get out of their way and so forth.
On a brighter note, even thought he game is hard and cruel and only gives you one life, I guess I'm getting a little better or a little luckier. I've still only played recon, and I haven't managed to use my one detonator (when I even get one) to do anything useful, though. I killed myself with it once, rather far away, and set it off near some enemies to apparently no effect another time.
I did manage to take down maybe two out of three people heading for the ghost dropoff spot though, that was nice. Oh, and I delivered the ghost for the first time. I didn't even see any enemies on the radar thingy, I guess they were far away.
Other recon adventures: I hate supports. I like the left second-row gun. The few times I've gotten the third-row left gun, it also seems nice...it's loud, but it seems to be suppressed? I've also started trying to learn the places where you can crouchjump up on buildings, or find ways into the rafters or vents. I'm not sure how useful this is, but it's fun to hang out up there and feel sneaky. Also, given how totally blind smoke makes you, I wish there were more dark areas so night vision actually had an advantage. There are only a couple of places where it even seems useful.
