I've always called it N E S (or just Nintendo where there was nothing else in the 80s)
I'm American. I've never heard anyone call it nez or ness, ever.
I do pronounce the Super Nintendo acronym as Snez though. Sness sounds fucking weird
Then again I say ruh-coon instead of rack-coon.

Back then we just called it Nintendo.
After the SNES came out we had the Nintendo and the Super Nintendo.
Later we referred to it as N.E.S. and S.N.E.S.

Yosh-ee is how I always said it, and while Yo-Shee is correct as a japanese name, I always say Yosh-ee for the green dinosaur.
As for the SEGA one, there is no excuse as the games literally say SAY-GAH at the start, so why say it differently?

Haha, I've done a quick browse on YouTube for evidence, but it seems I am wrong and, in fact, he says "Yo-shi".
Could've sworn he says "Yosh-e" during Woolly World.

I used to work as a Nintendo Gameplay Counselor way back in the day, and we were told the official way to pronounce SNES was "Super N-E-S". Make of that what you will

In spanish (native language) i say "nes", but the snes is "super nintendo".
Although in my country we didn't have the nes, we had the Family Game (japanese famicom made for other markets)

Saying N E S rolls off the tongue, GAF is more natural as one word, like NASA. I've never heard anyone say NES or SNES as one word.

NEZ sounds stupid to me NES sounds stupid to me also. N E S though, that sounds really stupid to me. Doesn't feel natural and doesn't roll off my tongue at all.
It's all about what we grew up with saying, no matter what if you hear a word or acronym in this case pronounced differently than what you're used to it will sound bad, I grew up just calling it the Nintendo and the Super Nintendo. Gun to my head I'd pronounce NES as one word though.
