Well, it seems the hotly anticipated Neverwinter Nights has hit a bit of a snag/blessing as NWN 2 has been pushed back to sometime in October due to "the sheer size and scope of Neverwinter Nights 2 and its 50 to 60-hour single player campaign." Considering how rushed, buggy, and generally awful KOTOR II was, I think this is probably a blessing, and it shows that Atari is actually making some kind of effort to make sure NWN II doesn't suck.
