New 360/PS3 IPs with the greatest sequel potential

Uncharted is easily the best choice for a sequel. Most of these sequels are just forcing the series to continue to make more money. It just seems too forced.

With Uncharted though, it's such an Indiana Jones like adventure, I would love to go on more adventures with those characters, just like the Indiana Jones movies led themselves to sequels.

Ahhhh Uncharted, you're such great surprise this year. :D :D :D
unfortunately the crap ps3 owners will make sure that probably never happens. no game buying fuckwits most of them.

Crackdown 2

Por favor y gracias.

I heard rumors that the skate team has been very disappointed with the time and money they put into development and the outcome numbers for their game. ) : I really enjoyed it and would like to see a skate 2 as well.

Definitely Uncharted. The gameplay is awesome, has lots of untapped potential, can be tweaked to be a bit better, and the presentation is much better than the rest of these games, these are characters I WANT to see again.

#1 for me is definitely Dead Rising. Dead Rising was a great game, but still a bit rough around the edges at parts and a great sequel would be able to address these problems. Online Coop and a multiplayer mode would be awesome additions as well.

1) Assassin's Creed - It's already been mentioned as a trilogy and reading a CvG article, it sounds like there's a fleshed-out story ready for the other games. The only thing it didn't do well was enough variety. The dialog was great but there were only a handful of lines repeated by all the NPCs over and over again. It got rather monotnous. Ubisoft also needs to add more things to do. There should be different ways to save citizens. Whether that be saving them from guards or something as rudamentary as killing criminals who are harrassing them.

2) Resistance: Fall of Man - I still haven't finished this game yet, eventhough it's excellent. Insomniac should just add some more unique weapons and enemies to the game and possibly set it in America. I'd love to fight the Chimera with the Statue of Liberty in the background. There also needs to be more situations to use certain unique weapons. I hardly use any weapon beyond the carbine, bullseye and the auger.

3) Dead Rising - It started off a little rusty, with some great potential. I'd love to see what Capcom can do with a sequel. Keep the storyline going with the campy tin-foil hat conspiracy theory theme and just add more things to kill zombies with. And make the human A.I. better. At some points, I thought the zombies were smarter than the survivors. Not to mention, DON'T BRING OTIS BACK!

4) Lost Planet - I loved the single player. The story wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be. I thought it had real potential. Go into some more back story on the planet and Earth. Some people still say Eden Prime is Earth. I think that could be possible. As for multiplayer, fix the latency. I quit playing it because the randomness of all the weapons. It had a lot of potential, but could have used some polish.

5) Gears of War - Make sure you actually put in the creatures you use in your promos. Make a more fleshed-out storyline that doesn't just allude to Emergence Day or the Fenix trial. Take out the horrible vehicle section(s) and just make it an on-foot game. Tone down the luminous wrenches too. Those things were cheap and a pain in the ass. And no more uneven boss fights like General RAAM or the spider thing (can't think of the name of it).

6) Crackdown - Make a better storyline to go with the game. Don't just give the bosses more health and more enemies to take down. Give them super powers as well. I'd love to see hand-to-hand combat or something like that. Hell, give chase across the city if you have to. More cars, more weapons, etc. And make more things to do. Climbing over the city was a lot of fun. But there just was a lack of stuff to do.

7) Uncharted - I havent' finished the game yet but it has a lot of potential. It reminds me a lot of Indiana Jones. Use that theme and hunt for new treasures. Make the platforming a little more difficult and the same with the puzzles. Other than that, the game is Ace.

It's doing better than THPH so that should be good enough for them considering it was their first game. And if they do a sequel and want better sales, don't do stupid commercials. I can't remember the last game of skate's quality that had such bad commercials.

Resistance 2 is by far my most wanted sequel and I look forward to it's unveiling more than any other game.

Part 1 was nearly flawless and Insomniac had it out at launch. With the constant bitching today from incompetent developers about the PS3, that says a ton.

Crackdown - want something more of a story, a little more meat on boss encounters, more character customization, more reason to do side objectives

Saint's Row - more time to polish...ie: less buggy, continuation of the story, better coop that is integrated into the main story rather than a side game

Gears of War - flesh out the story, include flashbacks to help explain whats happening, a little longer, 4 player coop or 2 player with less reliance on the AI to complete objectives

Assassin's Creed - build on what you have already which is great, improved AI, less repetition

Overlord - more reasons to get attached to your minions ie: level minions up, name them, ressurect important ones, etc etc.

Dead Rising - Frank in other locations, different stories, this game has the best chance to have many different stories/sequels

Warhawk- This game is just too awesome for it not to have a sequel. It lacks a single player and variety of maps, but if those two things get fixed, this could be one of the funnest games ever.

Crackdown!!!!

It took 4 posts for this? wtf is wrong with you people.

Crackdown with 4 player co-op and a more involved story would be the best sequel of a new IP that I can think of.
