What's the deal with the fence?
I'm thinking this is a Kinect title...
Same to me, it kind of cursor flying on the screen and probably controlled with kinect.

Avalanche. BELIEVE.
Crackdown was one of those rare games that ended up hitting just the right cord from a gameplay standpoint to make it something really special. Crackdown 2 just didn't even have the same feeling to it. Realtime Worlds had found the same kind of design "click" that Miyamoto consistently finds with Mario titles, Bungie finds with shooters, or Relic finds with RTS games. That's a rare thing and no matter how someone tries to ape it there is very little chance of catching that lightning in a bottle again with a different developer or even the same developer with a different IP.That's right. Crackdown one was great. Crackdown 2 wasn't. It somehow took the wrong direction and lost all of its appeal.
Come on. They've publicly said they're working on both systems and even said the PS4 is clearly superior at this point. Someone with a first party exclusive contract isn't going to say any of the things they've said in the last few days.
Edge said:We asked Avalanches chief technical officer Linus Blomberg how the two consoles compare. Its difficult to say, as its still early days when it comes to drivers, he told us. With each new driver release, performance increases dramatically in some areas. The PlayStation 4 environment is definitely more mature currently, so Microsoft has some catching up to do. But Im not too concerned about that as they traditionally have been very good in that area. The specs on paper would favour the PS4 over the Xbox One in terms of raw power, but there are many other factors involved so well just have to wait and see a bit longer before making that judgment.

What if Saints Row 4 had orb hunting?
We need to find out the name of that announcer. He's awesome. As long as I have the creepy guy talking to me, telling me how badass I'm getting, sure.
"Your crotch size has grown EXPONENTIALLY, Agent."

I guess it could be Kameo or a new fantasy look for fable?
Kameo is more likely, but I don't think that's it, it seems to have world building elements.

It's probably already posted, but I believe that the game next to Forza 5 is thedakotagame.com :
Thanks, Sangreal.
Could be a RTS of some kind that heavily uses Kinect?
I'm reaching though...
Actually, that idea crossed my mind as well. I don't know about RTS, but maybe an approachable god game or something like that.
God game does seem possible too and would probably the better option.
Black and White 2? Could it be?
You mean 3? Perhaps, but this doesn't really have the same art style. My bet is on a new IP, possibly by Big Park.
Yeah. It had sooo much potential as a new ip.Crackdown was one of those rare games that ended up hitting just the right cord from a gameplay standpoint to make it something really special. This is why MS' hesitancy to greenlight Crackdown 2, leaving Realtime Worlds to move on to other projects and subsequently crash and burn, pretty much knee capped the franchise. They'll have to come up with an entirely new developer who can find that same gameplay balance and tone, because Ruffian certainly couldn't and they had a portion of the original Realtime Worlds staff working on it.
I always gathered Rare really wanted to make a Kameo sequel, they always seemed so hyped for the future of the franchise.
For as different the sequel looked, I would have liked to see where they would have taken it.
I'm glad I never played Crackdown 2.

I don't think there's such thing as a Kinect game now. Since is packed on every Box, I think the like will be blurred more and more with the passage of time.
Anyone know who might be developing crackdown 3 because its not ruffian thank God! real time worlds are no more right? did ms get the old guys from there to work on it or is it someone else?
Snap, I think with kinect being bundled in every box there is much less pressure for MS to obviously support it. I hope for a gen of more subtle Kinect stuff.
How do we know it's not Ruffian?
Exactly Kinect will be More supplemental and less mandatory. And since every single Xbox has one, it can he a key differentiator between multiconsole games. Like at the beginning of the generation when Achievements and the controller alone made Third party titles more interesting on the 360.
How do we know it's not Ruffian?
I think Ruffian could have done the job properly if they had the time and budget. They have a lot of ex-Real Time Worlds guys there.Anyone know who might be developing crackdown 3 because its not ruffian thank God! real time worlds are no more right? did ms get the old guys from there to work on it or is it someone else?

Maybe the had tons of members more than Ruffian.
Also, that looks pretty whatever it is.
Anyone know how many projects Rare are working on at the moment?
Rumours suggest two projects.
Bloodwake and Jet Force Gemini.
Believe.
Loved the original Crackdown, but wasn't Crackdown 2 pretty poor?
I still can't believe people thought either of the Crackdown games were good, let alone a console seller. #mindblowing
