The lighting is what really sells the game from what I've seen in the various pics posted. One thing I'd like to know now is how are the animations? For me, I'm always interested in seeing how well things are animated.

I think what's off about the indoor areas is poor textures.
(Not on everything, just on metallic objects.)
And because of that, it distracts from the whole image.

They can fix that up though.

I think Crysis should stay in the forest. Indoor shots look awful. I'd suggest them to try to make it look more worn out. Good lighting, strange textures :S

IIRC, FarCry was supposed to be about dinosaurs before they switched to death pimple monkeys.

There's an almost jarring difference between Crytek's interiors and exteriors which is a shame. It was similar in Far Cry aswell.

You might, in Soul Calibur 4, hahaha.

The engine is already ported I think, but the game won't be (yet). On the other hand, thta game of the Jak developer offers comparable graphics...

Not nearly as great, but it's the same direction and it might get some polishing. (by the way I looked like 10 minutes for screenshots...didn't know this had no name yet...nowadays all the stuff is so damn generic hat you can't remember game's names)
