wtf. they need to reset dbz, focus less on power levels and more on techniques and abilities.

Yeah. So it won't actually air in Japan but everywhere else. Which is interesting since its Japanese dubbed, and obviously FUNimation will do their own dub.

But Kai continuing outside of Japan is confirmed.

Yeah, and characters, which is where Dragonball shined IMO. Characters like Yamcha weren't useless all the time.

The new “Super Saiyan God” form is a legendary form among the Saiyans that needs the power of six pure-hearted Saiyans. “Super Saiyan God” had appeared on Planet Vegeta once before to stop evil Saiyans, but he failed due to the form’s time limit.

Goku reaches this “Super Saiyan God” form — looking similar to the image seen on a Toei Animation office poster — surrounded by a red aura. Goku returns to his regular Super Saiyan form, but has now felt the form’s godlike power and is able to tap into it.

While there are only five Saiyans seen in the movie (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten), there is actually a sixth: the one currently growing inside Videl (Pan)! Dende is the one to notice the pregnancy as he heals Videl from inadvertently being shot by Mai, all thanks to a drunken Gohan.

Pilaf and his gang make a wish to Shenlong to restore their youth, but are then made too young.

“Uisu” does not fight at all, but “Birusu” reveals that Uisu is his martial arts master and is even stronger than he is.

Birusu reveals that there are actually “12 universes”, and what see in the Dragon World is but one of them — this ties in with the seemingly-out-of-the-blue notation in Chōzenshū 1: Story & World Guide that states Planet Earth, where Goku & co. live, is Planet 4032-877, and is part of the “Seventh Universe”.

There is some dumb shit in those spoilers. Kinda disappointing.

But the person giving out these spoilers said it's the best Dragon Ball movie, so I'm still excited. Now, the difficult wait for an American release begins...

We already knew that the film was purposely made as a continuation of the manga story; however, it appears that
Tarble is mentioned in the film when they look for a 5th Saiyan, so apparently that makes the recent JSAT special canon too
.

This should please some people:

While SS3 Goku gets defeated by a single finger flick from Birisu, SS2 Vegeta gets so pissed at Birisu slapping Bulma that he flips out and puts up a better fight than Goku did.

Goku also does not technically win. He and Birisu sort of tie, then SS God runs out, but Birisu lost too much energy to wipe out Earth so he decides to let Goku live and leaves.

Sounds like Toei has been reading a particularly popular Dragonball fanmanga on the Internet. This is no coincidence.

This ending spoiler sold me:

Bils defeats God Goku and tries to destroy the Earth, but he didn't have enough energy left after battling Goku.

yeah and this series has had such serious character designs like an imp, the terminator, a racist stereotype in a robot suit, a humanoid slug martian, a giant gorilla, evil power rangers, an old man and a fat man, a cricket lizard guy, and a fat piece of bubble gum that eventually turns into an 8 year old
