yeah, it's a lot of money but i'll only be buying 3 full-priced games this year: mass effect 2, god of war 3, halo reach, and i'll be damned if i wont get the best fucking edition of each of those

I don't think it's that great value really. If GoW3 is £40, the Collection in the States was $40, so it should be about £25 here, a documentary and a couple of CDs for £45 is hardly a bargain.

Yeh what was pushing me towards buying it is that i'm in Europe and I didn't have the collection, so if you add God of War 3 and the collection (cost of importing to Europe) you get around £75 I think. An extra £35 wouldn't really hurt that much for all the cool stuff you get.

Agreed. I want the experience to be fresh when i play this. Too many games suffer from movie trailer syndrome where they show so much key stuff in the trailer (or in the case of games pre-release media) that they spoil much of the end product before you can experience it for yourself.

I don't expect them to go wild with showing media for GoW3. They've already said that they're going to try to avoid spoiling it for people. We'll get some new screens and that trailer eventually but I don't expect much else.

I remember this time a few years back in 2007 and how much we'd seen of GoW2 at that point. Honestly, I'm glad they've shown as little as they have and, given how close the release is, I'd prefer they just maintain the relatively slow media trickle.

In addition to GOW collection, you can buy/rent District 9 on BD; the demo is on the disk. I'm sure there are plenty of people here with spares codes as well.

You do get three games (extremely good ones too) with European collection For someone who hasn't played the first two, it's not a bad proposition.

The satyrs are normal enemies, though they're tough, and generally best countered by grappling.

Nice to see direct, hi-res versions of all these satyr shots. Keep in mind that they're all at least ~3 months old at this point. A couple were in GamePro, IIRC. Not sure where I've seen the others.
