Anyway, we already know they are including skins, so they might as well include all the different versions of Cole.

The only thing wrong with the Cole that they first debuted with was that his face looked nothing like Cole, he went from looking like Robert Patrick to Freddie Prinze Jr. Everything else was fine/easily explainable.

Hair: He had short hair in inFAMOUS because the shit got burned off in the blast and was regrowing.
Clothes: It's hot and humid down south. Leather pants and jacket would be hell.
Tattoos: Got them done between the two games.

Hurry up, June. I want my Hero edition!
 
Wow, I hadn't seen any of the new media for this before now. This game looks simply incredible! I cannot wait for June

Nah, I'm just kidding. I know you were talking about E3 Cole. Who was an absolute abomination. Just like current Cole.
 
That boss video sucked, it barely attacked the player. It certainly looks cool but they need to do better than that.

I was gonna show the vid to my friends initially but nvm now, they will just make negative comments like I just did.

Still can't wait to play the game though.

Personally, I don't think there really is a need for walking in inFamous because the game is all about getting crap done quickly. Then again, if they added more 'weight' to Richard's (:P) movements and really started doing things with the free running, I probably wouldn't mind having a slow walk to start and then having to get up to speed.

Well, you wouldn't need to start slow and wait to gain speed. That's what analog sticks are for. Hard push and you start running rightaway.

My problem with the beta: the Powers menu REALLY worries me. It looks like you can unlock new powers but don't actually get to level your powers up at all.

For example, in inFamous 1's endgame, I had a grenade that (1) stuck to enemies, (2) stunned them for a long time, and (3) chained them down if they took enough damage.

In inFamous 2, based on what we've seen, it looks like those'll be three separate grenades and you won't be able to have one grenade with all of those qualities. That, to me, is a downgrade. I hope I'm wrong.

I honestly feel like some of that stuff is turned off in the Beta. Judging from some of the videos I have seen, there seems to be more effects going on. It could be the fact that its a beta, or it could be they have to scale the assets back some based on what people could do to the engine with the creation tools, if that makes any sense.
 
He looks a lot more like the older one. I just wish they had the original voice actor from the first game, too. He sounded really calm and sincere, I really liked his VA.

I really like the comic-y look it has to it. I'd say it's a pretty unique look. It really blends all types of different approaches together nicely.
 
Damn, the Giantbomb video. This game will (hopefully) rock the shit out any other game released this year, that's how great it looks.
 
I'm such a sucker for high quality animations in games. That Giantbomb video sold me over. I mean, I was going to get it anyway, but that just made me all the more excited.


How well a game animates is the deal breaker/day one'er for me.
 
Why did they even change the voice actor again, it just sounds like the new one is trying to mimic the old one, character largely looks the same too. I thought they had some redesign in mind?
 
Sucker Punch wanted to take the Naughty Dog approach that's why. They changed it back because majority of the fanbase wanted the original look back. The character changed way too much for the fanbase to accept pretty boy Cole.
 
I really have a good feeling about this game. Looks like it's going to take the formula of its predecessor to the next level, like God of War 2 and Uncharted 2 did.

Nice bullshots, really good tech, really ugly character design for the enemies.
This Cole is better than the other one.

Because they tried to pass some other dude as Cole and the fans got pissed.
 
I have to get inFamous 1 first, before I'll be playing this, but does the second support Move? No biggie if it doesn't just wondering... I want more 'core' games to support my €70 controller, Sony. And this should be one of them.
