Man this looks great!

Framerate is very choppy, it's especially visible when camera moves in the action. It's pretty much sub 30 all the time.uh... ok? You going to add anything to that?
From the guy with the Ryse avatar... the irony.
The combat has never been good or diverse in the Infamous games. Guys stand around to get blasted repeatedly by your standard 3rd person shooting power and the only (annoying) change is late in the game you're swarmed with baddies to repetitively shoot over and over again. I was hoping this would change with this game but it seems like they're trying to stick to the relatively poor formula of the other 2 too closely.
ITT I realized a lot of people never played an InFamous game before.
I never understand why any company would release a gameplay trailer played by an average/bad player. I feel like the repetitive aspect of the video is mainly due to an uninspired or unskilled player.
A few comments on youtube are : "After playing Infamous 1 and 2, I know for a fact that after watching this video, the player is not very good and the combat will have more depth than what is shown."
Also, I might have overlooked the HUD, is there a life bar? (I've never played any Infamous).
i must be blind or something but this doesn't look impressive or next-gen at all to me
the character models, animations, trees, cars, overall world geometry and detail etc... all look bland and last-gen to me. i hope it's just the quality of the youtube video, but ehh..
destructability and some of those particle effects are nice though i guess, but don't make up for what the visuals lack in other areas IMO. not even close.
He gave a detailed response about the gameplay and you do this? Who cares what his avatar is?
So fast and fluid action![]()
It's Seattle mang. Days without cloudy skies are the abnormality. Especially since he seems to be dressed more in Winter clothes, so the sunny days are even more infrequent during that time.
Am I the only one who thinks this would be helped TREMENDOUSLY by having a pulsing electronic score in the background that revs up when you get into the action? It just seems so lifeless right now
Meh. Action still screams "we can't push past the T-rating". No impact at all. I wish Sony didn't feel like they had to tone down violent games to get a T-rating. Their lineup would be much stronger for it, IMO.

More like ITT we all realize this really is Infamous 3 and not the reinvention that crappy series needed.
That's the stuff I played at the Sony review event, but the player there never activated the neon powers, which were available.
RIght... I mean, people complaining it seems repetitive must not have played 1 or 2.
Personal GOTY for 2014.
Infamous is my favorite franchise
... Lots of blood, machines guns and choppers!
Yes, you're the only one.
Looks stunning visually, not too sure about the gameplay. Seems a lot like previous entries and I honestly felt more than a little burnt out on that type of gameplay towards the end of I2...

There's just something about the IQ that seriously impresses me every time I see this game.
