Are you KIDDING ME. This is way over the top comic book action. All the comic book fonts and the comic book page ripping, where was THAT in MvC2?

MvC2 wasn't trying to emulate American comic books. I said I prefer the aesthetic of MvC2 to 3, not that that MvC2 did the comic book aesthetic better.

I can see this growing on me though, but it'd be an acquired taste unless they really wow me with the improvements they make before release.

Oh stfu. I voiced my opinion (good and bad) in the reveal thread and I'm gonna do the same here. If I don't like something I'm gonna say I don't like it. Knowing the game is in development this is obviously (well... obvious to anyone with half a brain) not a final verdict.

Some people have their head so far up a developer/franchise/game's ass they can't see anything but what they want to see. Maybe if everyone was all rainbows and handjobs when they saw first saw Epic Mickey things may not have changed much. Maybe they already knew it looked like shit when compared to the concept art. Either way it doesn't hurt for me to give an honest assessment of what I see. Well... doesn't hurt unless it's you apparently.

Thats pretty much the only thing MVC2 has on this game...Wolverine sounds like some kind of ogre, and Cap sounds like hes a little on the slow side if ya catch my drift. Deadpool sounds great though, I'm loving the one liners. Dante sounds about right as well.

Using the TvC 3 button controls is the best move they could have ever made. They are perfect for this type of game.

meh, I liked the 6 button control in the original games pre MvC2 and I felt this was a step down to make things less complicated, and they are doing it again here. I love TvC controls, but I feel they should not interfer with MvC2. I understand its the next gen and it was innevitable but yeah...just unhappy.
