And for those that didn't follow the stream, ME4 will have an Organics vs Synthetics angle again.

Gotta have that usual ME hate man, otherwise it's not a ME thread.Don't spread misinformation, please.

After having watched the stream I just made that decision.Getting closer and closer to media/info blackout for this.

I wonder just how far away this game actually is.
2-3 years?
I haven't been following this too closely, have they said if this is a sequel or a prequel to the other games?

I captured those.
Here's the last one: (the actual last one without the dev boxes patterned out)
Still not sure if I should try the trilogy for the first time now or hope for a remastered trilogy...
The Mass Effect series has always been good at translating 2d concept art to final 3d game assets and environments. The settings were almost always stunningly beautiful from an artistic standpoint and I doubt that will change especially now that they have more power at their disposal.
That waterfall in one of those pics above will be great to see moving while I'm running around whatever city/village that is in the final game.
From the Mass Effect - N7 Day Roundtable Twitch stream.

Thanks salromano.
EA has never done a remaster. I wouldn't bet on one after all these years of their competitors releasing them.

Someone from Bioware posted in another thread some stuff that gives us hope it might be coming one day.
I remember many months ago they tweeted they were glad to hear there was interest and they would update us if there were ever solid plans. They haven't referenced it since, as far as I know.
Point is, it isn't a zero chance, but since it is from EA, you just shouldn't bet on it happening and let it stop you from replaying the existing versions.
The thing I'd love to hear from people is what you'd like to have in such an experience. For me (personal opinion, and based on what people have told me many times before):
- 1080p
- 60 fps
- High res textures, especially on ME1
- Some shader improvements commensurate with newer GPUs
- All the DLC
- "Seamless experience" - the adventures flow into each other without having to go back to save import, menu screens, etc.
Agree / disagree? What else?
Bear in mind this is a "wish list" at this point...
If the game can capture the atmosphere , lighting and art of those pictures and not look plastic I'll be impressed. Alas no game has ever looked like the concept art IMHO.
