not sure where to post this, but apparently, OPM has just given MGS 4 review a perfect score.

not sure, the magazine is in english, but there's a line filled with japanese at the top of the pages

Far more color saturation, refined DOF effect, extra detail added on the characters (look at the more refined details on the pant legs and scoff details to the knees pads instead of perfectly smooth ones), and of course better lighting, just look at the shadow detail and highlights between the two pics.

It's not just the color, look at the shadow and lighting detailing, it's different too. Pay attention to the highlights and a good number of them are completely different as well as some more refined details like Ocelot's fingers with an added shadow on the walkie talkie.
