You really should get in touch with brandonh83, just so one of you doesn't waste a massive amount of time on stuff that may not be used. I've seen him comment multiple times that he was the one making the thread, for a while now.

I couldn't care less who makes it, just trying to save somebody some trouble.

I don't know which MGS4 thread is best for this post, but for the record I was in Gamestop yesterday (Memphis, TN) and they had massive posters for MGS4 on the windows (easily visible from the road) advertising the 80GB bundle. Without knowing anything else, that alone leads me to believe that particular bundle won't be quite as scarce as some have mentioned it might be.

There was also a poster advertising the LE of the game.

If that's a Euro pack shot it wouldn't make sense for there to be an ESRB rating on it. So it's fake.

You have to download a zip file and it has every screen in there. It says the zip was last updated today so it should have these new screens.

Based on these shots, I agree with Kojima's disappointment in being able to really advance the graphics.

They took one step forward instead of 10.

I was going to get the bundle, but I'll just wait for the price drop. I'm sure the game will be amazing regardless of the graphics.

Yeah, it's no Gears of War, and there is some really silly texture design choices made, but overall the game will still be great. I'm still getting it day one. I'm not about to let a few stretched, flat, and blurry textures make me miss out on this masterpiece.

I wouldn't be surprised if this literally ties into some in joke where Otacon instructs Snake to "Hit the panel for massive damage, Snake!"

Also, Look deeply into the new pics and certain interesting stuff (e.g. "DO NOT STRIKE THIS SURFACE". lol) can be seen and some might be considered spoilers for sensitive peeps. That said, read if you don't care:

1. Metal Gear Ray says "OUTER HAVEN" instead of "M.A.R.I.N.E.S."
2. Metal Gear Rex is powered by Metal Gear Mk. II
3. Naomi's suit says "US ARMY"
4. Rat Patrol's suit says "Sneaking Suit"

But what will gears have? A bunch of shooing, ducking and rolling animations; chainsaw and curb stomp attacks; and some large scale battles. I'm sure pumping out pretty visuals is easy with that type of game. It was like racers and fighters last gen. They always looked the best because the system didn't have as much to do as say a MGS title. Think of ALL that dialogue, animations, easter eggs, gameplay mechanics, bonus features, camo feature, 4th wall destroying mayhem. Poor textures are forgiven here.

Yes, secrets not spoilers. They probably just mean development secrets. As far as spoilers go, Konami seems to have a nice lockdown going on for major sites and magazines. In the OPM review they said they weren't allowed to talk specifics about the story aside from what was known publicly.
 
Oh God those new screens look absolutely beautiful. I can't fucking wait for this game, I seriously can't fucking wait. This game. This fucking game. I fucking hate the fact that I'm gonna have to wait an extra week just because I'm stuck living in a 3rd world country. ;_;
