I was expecting more from the character models, honestly. The particles look good though.
That looks damn good. First two screens remind me of Lily Bergamo
They already look better than the source material. Not sure what else can be done to them.
Is the top one in-engine pre-rendered? It looks pretty different from the bottom one.
If it isn't pre-rendered, then it's pretty amazing how many "anime details" their engine is handling. I imagine it requires a lot of custom work to make sure they look correct from all angles.
With this and Xrd it looks like the age of TRUE 3D anime has finally arrived. Where was this tech back when I was playing Dark Cloud 2 back in the day.
Seriously. Namco needs to make the next Tales game look like this.

are we sure this Madara is ingame 3d model and not simply 2d animation? look at the hair, clothes wear and tear, looks way too detailed for polygon and not inline with the other character, maybe their engine new feature is to paste 2d animation on top of their 3d engine and they use it at times during cutscene.
I can believe Hashirama is 3d model in this screen, but not Madara
Top one seems to be a reused model with a better facial rig while the bottom seems to be a WIP model meant for hype. Storm 3 had a lot of mods that allowed people to change the textures, meaning they were realtime. Probably will be the same case here.Is the top one in-engine pre-rendered? Just play Storm 1, 2 and 3. Will be alot more fun than sitting through fillers.I really need to catch up with the series and get this.
I stopped at like episode 90 years ago. Time to restart and finish.

Read the manga. It skips every filler and you can read like 4 chapters compared to what it would take you to watch a single episode.
