I'm so sorry.

I'm guessing those who are surprised at her skills reflecting a culmination of other hero skills didn't read this list:

A hero made of other hero abilities is sort of what I expected. I thought she'd be more like Taskmaster from MvC 3 though.

I like the idea of a child copying the abilities of heroes they idolize in creating their own.

Tested out and it looks like my suspicions are correct. Orisa can solo tank Bastion with relative ease with Barrier > Fortify from most distances if Orisa constantly has him targeted.

I like the bulky design a lot, the gameplay mechanics don't seem that interesting though, and I'm not going back to overwatch.

I was literally posting this damn. Anyway 3 straight female characters! That's practically unheard of right? Has that ever happened where 3 DLC characters are all women in a non all female game?

Same thing happened in Paragon with new characters recently :)

I kind of wish her personality was basically Efi's. Like she's this big tanky robot with the mannerisms and voice of a child.

They specifically mention doomfist in both the developer update and Orisa's lore video.

He's building up. Keep in mind Blizzard never intended to make a Doomfist character, players latched on to the idea after the game launched, so it was always going to be a while for Doomfist to show up.

Having watched the lore video now it does make a bit more sense, but it's still totally out of left field.
They already did a bait-and-switch reveal with the whole Ana/Sombra thing, so doing it again is just trite imo. They clearly know how much groundswell Doomfist has at this point.

And I know, I know, Fool Me Once and all that, but I'm still disappointed.

So Rein seems to hurt himself when charging into a fortify Orisa:

He loses 170hp from running into her.

I'm sorry you feel deceived but Jeff all but said that Hero 24 wasn't going to be Doomfist a couple weeks ago. They were trying to be upfront about that from pretty early on.

The Ana/Sombra thing wasn't bait and switch. And neither is this, Kaplan even went out of his way to clarify that Doomfist would not be the 24th hero. Fans just like to jump to conclusion whenever Blizzard throws out little hints.

I haven't kept my ear to the ground for Overwatch news since I stopped playing it on the regular, so that would explain that. My bad.

Hello Pot, I'm Kettle. How do you do? lol

I feel this opens the path for a hero in the future who can "steal" abilities

Even though I said she seemed uninspired due to her abilities, I'm now retracting that statement because it makes sense in the lore. It's super cool that, like some of you are stating, the kid designed osira after the abilities of other heroes she idolized. That's really cool to think about. Works on every level.

Kinda ugly and why WHY another hero?
This game desperately need new maps!! There`s more heroes released since launch than maps this doesn`t make sense =\

I don't really like her look, and her abilities just sound like worse/slightly different versions of abilities that already exist.

I mean, I'm sure Blizzard will find a way to reasonably balance her, but overall this character feels uninspired.

But that's just my opinion. Happy for the people who like her.
