Prevents attack from being lowered by opponents.I never used a mon with Hyper Cutter, what does it do? Improve crit damage?

that's kinda crappy in hindsight

Considering how popular Intimidate is?
It's not that bad when pretty much every team in VGC has at least one Pokemon with Indimidate like Landorus or Salamence, though it's other abilities will probably be better.

Not all of. Some of them are trolls that seem to be deliberately deceptive (Girrafarrig, Gligar , Flabebe).
How its Shiny should look:

A quick little edit I made
I could kiss you right now. Thanks!!
Also, part of me wants to raise the most delightfully garish-looking team:

A coconut crab, a triggerfish, and a mata mata turtle <3
Girafarig's deception is part of its gig; it's acceptable.
Gligar and Flabebe are just straight up wrongly-typed, IMO. I have never met anyone who can explain to my why Gligar is Ground-typed. I actually love Gligar's design, but I'd be straight-up lying if I said I wasn't hoping for a Poison/Dark Alolan variant.

Bring it on, old man, BRING IT ON!!!"Well these claws ain't just fer attracting mates."
As a pure Fairy type it's just an inferior Sylveon/Clefable though. It's probably for the better that Florges isn't Grass type.
They have to be STOPPED at all costs!
Seriously, wtf is that?
That, and Gligar cling to cliffs, the side of "ground," so it's inherently in their nature.Despite having wings, scorpion flies rarely fly. I always figured that that's why Gligar and Gliscor were part ground.
The Japanese website added entries for the following Pokémon lines:
These are in addition to the other older ones that were added recently:
I previously wondered why these were added, but I noticed that they have written new Pokédex entries for some of them. While they typically copy/paste or rephrase old ones, this time they have enriched them with interesting lore information. For example, where Pinsir was previously paralleled with Scyther and Heracross, his rival in Alola is said to be Vikavolt. I suppose they are adding some of the Pokémon that are native in Alola but haven't developed into distinct regional variants.
