New Pokémon: Crabrawler

I like this new pokemon, in addition to the others. I don't find anything bad about the tag, crabrawler's color scheme or the sandcastle pokemon. I might use the crab on my team.

Considering how popular Intimidate is?

Dunno, Iron Fist seems more useful

It's not that bad when pretty much every team in VGC has at least one Pokemon with Indimidate like Landorus or Salamence, though it's other abilities will probably be better.

Oh right, Intimidate is on the big mons, always thought only mons like Mightyena and Arcanine have 'em.

Yeah, that's why Hyper Cutter Pinsir is better. You have a higher chance of making use of it than Mold Breaker before Mega Evolving. Of course with Pinsir it's only temporary before it gets the amazing Aerilate.

Not all of. Some of them are trolls that seem to be deliberately deceptive (Girrafarrig, Gligar , Flabebe).

Girafarig's deception is part of its gig; it's acceptable.

Gligar and Flabebe are just straight up wrongly-typed, IMO. I have never met anyone who can explain to my why Gligar is Ground-typed. I actually love Gligar's design, but I'd be straight-up lying if I said I wasn't hoping for a Poison/Dark Alolan variant.

How its Shiny should look:

SUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR

I could kiss you right now. Thanks!!

Also, part of me wants to raise the most delightfully garish-looking team:

A coconut crab, a triggerfish, and a mata mata turtle <3

That's a cool looking team when you put them side by side. I'm so pumped for Sun & Moon, so many mons I can't wait to use.

Despite having wings, scorpion flies rarely fly. I always figured that that's why Gligar and Gliscor were part ground.

It's probably for the better that Florges isn't Grass type.

The Japanese website added entries for the following Pokémon lines:
These are in addition to the other older ones that were added recently:
I previously wondered why these were added, but I noticed that they have written new Pokédex entries for some of them. While they typically copy/paste or rephrase old ones, this time they have enriched them with interesting lore information. For example, where Pinsir was previously paralleled with Scyther and Heracross, his rival in Alola is said to be Vikavolt. I suppose they are adding some of the Pokémon that are native in Alola but haven't developed into distinct regional variants.

More entries have been added:We've seen Lapras before, so that one isn't anything surprising, but Arcanine certainly is interesting. According to the half-correct rumours that were circling around, Alolan Growlithe/Arcanine would be Water-type Pokémon. The Pokédex entries are new too, I believe, and specifically mention Fire-type characteristics.

These dex entries don't necessarily deconfirm an Alolan form for those Pokemon, though. A hypothetical water-typed Arcanine could be native to one of the four islands, while the original Fire type is on the other three, or something like that.
