The games look great. It's gonna be so nostalgic to walk around Hoenn again. Gen 3=Best Gen. I'll admit I'm biased though, Sapphire being my first Pokemon game and all.
Maxie's head looks hella weird though. I'm not even gonna mention the Magma members' outfits. Getting Alpha Sapphire just so I don't have to look at that fashion disaster. Well, that and my love for Kyogre.
Think Rayquaza will get a Mega Evo too? I think it's very likely.

Though it wasn't my first pokemon game, my fondest memories come from traveling around hoenn, so i'm with you there.
I wish it delivers too, specially post-game because that's what killed my enjoyment of XY tbh.

Gen 3 got me back into pokemon after I pretty much abandoned it for fear of being picked on in high school

The one gym I had a lot of trouble with was Winona ( I had nothing to handle her in my original Ruby and had to power thru her with my Blaziken) I look forward to fighting her again.

I have to agree. I wasn't too convinced before but this trailer has really impressed. The colors seem so vivid. If they can deliver these kind of artistic/graphical enhancements along with a noticeable performance increase I'll be in

I think it's more like adding more to the story instead of outright changing it entirely.
RS's stories were easily the weakest part of them. They were so... so... stupid. It's like they Aqua and Magma didn't even try to think through their plans.

I didn't like RS post game after a generation with another region as a post game. Hopefully they'll add something fro ORAS.
Other stuff needs to return:

Is it just me, or are the battle scenes more lush? I don't remember seeing background trees and mountains in Pokémon X/Y's battles. They look really nice.
As much as I'd love to praise the improved frame rate, a small part of me thinks it could be footage from the more powerful New 3DS. But either way, I hope horde battles will hold up well.
Also great to hear some music for the first time.

Makuhita is level 16 instead of 19. It seems to me like the game is going to be easier this time, which is an awful change that was one of the worst parts of X/Y.

Looks like it's the walkway to Sidney's E4 room.
Game looks good, I hope there isn't any performance issues and it runs at 30fps minimum, X and Y were horrible.
Also in that same scene Grovyle is using Leaf Blade at level 23 when it always learned it at 29.
Most likely since even on the official site, these forms have been classified as primal reversions. Though supposedly they hinted it does have some connections to mega evolutions. Maybe the first forms of mega evolution where legendaries were powerful enough to call upon this form without the stone or something?

This 'Mega-Evolution' story angle is just dumb. Game Freak needs to improve on storytelling and cinematography with their cutscenes. Everything is too cookie-cutter.
It all showed great promise in Gen IV and especially Gen V (until N's Castle popped outta nowhere). Feel like Masuda just has no idea how to tell a good story.
