Not serious if drunk or high. I cant wait for Gen II reremakes WarmHeartGold and PureSoulSilver, gen2 is the best probably, had great starters and region. #TeamChikoritaThat's because Gen II is the worst.

Magma vs Aqua aka the worst? At least the original series ones have some charm in how bad they are.As a lifelong collector of the trading card game, I have always despised the CG card art. There is a set around Diamond and Pearl that was entirely CG art for the cards and it's garbage.
I hate all of this. Not serious if drunk or high. I cant wait for Gen II reremakes WarmHeartGold and PureSoulSilver, gen2 is the best probably, had great starters and region. #TeamChikorita
XY's enemy teams are generally smaller than in previous games though. The level curve of the original Red & Blue and especially Gold & Silver was more punishing too, since it had sudden jumps for Pokemon trainer levels at points, something that doesn't happen in XY.
If you don't use the EXP share and don't needlessly grind you are actually quite a few levels behind most of the bosses.
Not to insist that everyone's Pokémon experience is the guaranteed same, but I don't think this is true. I have said before that I completed XY without ever having Pokémon faint. Literally not once in the entire campaign. It solidified my decision to never play on Switch again.
XY feels balanced with steamrolling on mind. I mean, you get a free Lucario. Combined with you starter, that's pretty much game over for the enemies you face.
Going from XY to ORAS is a dramatic increase in difficulty.
I was very often 10 levels behind the bosses in XY when not using the EXP share.
X/Y is still easier even if you play it half asleep with one hand.If you don't grind, don't use megas and don't use the EXP share XY aren't much easier than those games, ORAS is pretty much equal to those games as well if you put those restrictions on.
Talking about difficulty, try playing Platinum after X&Y/ORAS, it's like it's not even a Pokémon game. Such a well balanced game difficulty wise.
No wonder it's the best region.

Considering it seems to be only pandering to gen 1 again, nope.
Doing exactly what you said, I actually had to grind a lot to beat Platinum's Elite 4, which got boring pretty fast. True, I'm bad at making a good team and using proper strategies, but my idea of fun isn't dying repeatedly while gaining what little experience I can until I am able to brute force the league, and that's what I had to resort to.Talking about difficulty, try playing Platinum after X&Y/ORAS, it's like it's not even a Pokémon game. Because a huge chunk of the megas were Gen 1, because you coincidentally got gen 1 starters in x/y and had a lot of wild gen 1 pokemon, because Alola-ized pokemon are coincidentally only gen 1 and there a million pokemon that deserve move/typeset switchups, gen 5 didn't get a single mega but Charizard got two. Its pretty much undeniable that Gen 1 gets fellated constantly while other gens sit in the background and take what they can get in terms of representation.I don't get why people think Pokemon only panders to gen 1.

While I agree with your point. Gen 3 had the most Megas out of all the generations.Because a huge chunk of the megas were Gen 1, because you coincidentally got gen 1 starters in x/y and had a lot of wild gen 1 pokemon, because Alola-ized pokemon are coincidentally only gen 1 and there a million pokemon that deserve move/typeset switchups, gen 5 didn't get a single mega but Charizard got two. You really really don't?
Like, really?
Maybe a good place to start is that we don't even know if Generations besides I are getting Alolan forms, which is frankly really fucking dumb.
it gets a lot of love so i could see how if you grew up on the later stuff you could behoping that gohan will be strong againwaiting for your gens turn
itll come someday.
yo...what if we start getting new regional variants added to remakes, like megas were added to ORAS.
Sinnohan Tyranitar Dark/Ice
They changed some stats for 6th gen and could possibly even do it again.I would really like this. I also don't think Game Freak should be afraid to adjust Pokémon's stats sometimes. A +10 here or a -10 there would drastically impact how that Pokémon performs, especially competitively.
I mean, a Pokémon like Flareon is a mess. Its best moves are Special, but its best stat is Attack. It has abysmal Defense, but also also cripplingly terrible Speed. Flareon can't do anything well. This is a Pokémon that needs some revision.

I would hope there are a lot of Gen 3 megas considering it got a remake. And I'm not sure Gen 4 had any gen 2 pandering besides their remakes either.Notice how I said "only panders to gen 1". Nobody is going to disagree with gen 6 trying to make a play at nostalgia and alola forms focusing on gen 1 Pokemon(though I expect that to change during this gen).
-Gen 3 had the most mega evolutions and we know a lot of the choices were based on things like popularity
-Charizard and Mewtwo got two mega evolutions because they are extremely popular, which is why they have both gotten big pushes in Pokemon media
-All of the regions were well represented in Kalos inm terms of wild Pokemon
- Gen 4 clearly pandered to gen 2
I don't think people believe that pokemon only panders to Gen 1. People's problem is that the pandering is overwhelmingly skewed in Gen 1's favor. Gen 1 has 31 cross generational pokemon (as in baby or evolutions added in at a later gen) compared to Gen 2's 13 cross generational pokemon and Gen 3's 7 cross generational pokemon. Even Gen 4 which pandered to Gen 2 had the exact same amount of new cross generational pokemon introduced for gen 2 pokemon as gen 1 pokemon.Notice how I said "only panders to gen 1". The game opened up with a callback to the red Gyarados in Johto, Cynthia gives you the same medicine to cure Psyducks as Jasmine gave you to cure Ampharos, Jasmine is in Sinnoh and participates in contests, there are 11 new baby/evolutions of Gen 2 pokemon, etc.I would hope there are a lot of Gen 3 megas considering it got a remake. Well I mean there were a good number of new evolutions and references to the point where people were expecting the remakes without a doubt.I would hope there are a lot of Gen 3 megas considering it got a remake. And I'm not sure Gen 4 had any gen 2 pandering besides their remakes either.

Well my bad, I must've missed that part. Also of the 31 cross-gen pokemon, 19 were from Gen 2, 11 from Gen 4 and 1 from Gen 6 (the only cross gen pokemon that gen). Also yeah GF abandoned cross-gen pokemon in favor of Megas and Gen 1 ended up making 30% of all the megas. People are afraid they are gonna abandon Megas and now go for Alolan forms but leave it at Gen 1 before they come up with some other new concept.Well I mean the majority of those evolutions came from gen 2 and GF stopped focusing on them as much after that outside of gen 4 lol. Also, I posted my initial comment because someone did in fact say that Pokemon only panders to gen 1.
Could this actually be one of the best Pokemon games?

That's because Gen II is the best.
The portal was identical to the one that UB-01 came out of too.
You're not wrong Also this is technically gen 1's 20th anniversary, not gen 2 so there's that as well.

Not to interrupt the "discussion", but i really liked the music in that trailer. a LOT. Hoping that is some ingame music.
Chances of Mudsdale being better than the castle?
