So just to be sure, I looked up a sample of information. 7 of the top 10 best selling games of 2021 need right stick movement as much as left stick movement. My issue with people who want to force asymmetrical controllers onto others is that when presented with their own information to validate why the right stick should also be moved above(like better for the hands and wrists), it will be dismissed. When also presented with alternate information like most played games, it will be dismissed as well. When presented with an actual good example of a controller that did it right(Wii U Pro), it is dismissed as well.
It creates this wall of thought where there's always a convenient defense against any criticism of it. I'd rather asymmetrical stick fans just outwardly say that it's their preferred way of playing instead of presenting it as the overall objective standard for how a controller should be. I also feel like some of those same fans using health reasons to justify asymmetrical sticks is not the best foundation to go by, because that foundation itself is weak.
Do you truly think that's the fault of the controller, or is it the fault of the console lacking in content and sales? I've heard way more praises than complaints about the Wii U pro controller. The fact that it was stuck on a mediocre system with barely any shooters is simply bad luck of the draw.
