New Remedy game announcement "Coming Soon"

Interested in seeing it but can't help but be worried about what the general reaction will be to a Remedy multiplayer focused title.

I'm open to them giving it a try. it would be good to see them very successful and raking the money in so we might get more single player stories on the side or both They can't survive forever doing big games that don't sell.

Windows Store exclusive
PS4 exclusive
Survival first person shooter
MOBA multiplayer
Mobile game
Bluray with Quantum Break scenes
....

So many possibilities.

Alan Wake had a curious ending that left things open for a sequel. GIVE ME ALAN WAKE 2!

Or something original anyway. If it's Remedy I'm automatically interested.

Why would it be "exclusive" to PS4? It could also simply be multiplatform, yet announced at PSX.

If they announce a multiplatform title it would be at VGAs on Dec 1st. It would only make sense to promote it at PSX if it is exclusive for PS4 (or exclusive perks, which I doubt).

yfw is for Nintendo, the final music is very "nintendy"

Wouldn't it be strange to make such a video and leave a giant Microsoft Game Studios bit in it, if the game end up being not on Xbox One?

I enjoyed QB for what it was, but I don't know about a new Remedy game... not that exciting.

Let's hope the reveal changes that.

G-Star is currently going on, the Korean games festival.

Given they're working on CrossFire 2, and Remedy is teasing this instead of Geoff Keighley or Sony, it's plausibly getting announced there.
Hype tempered waaaay the fuck down.

What's a G-Star

It's like Gamescom or E3, but for Korean games.

They signed up with one Korean firm already (SmileGate for CrossFire), so it's plausible they signed up with another for their other title.

The event just started a few hours ago, and they notably started tweeting this now.

Here's the information on CrossFire 2: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1253457

CrossFire 1 is an online shooter that makes around $1 billion a year, primarily in Asia. Remedy was hired to help make a co-op campaign for it.

Thanks, could be cool!

Remedy didn't say 'reveal' right? They said 'trailer'. Could be this game then, yeah.

Thanks. Definitely puts some perspective on what Remedy might be up to.

Anyone know what's their relationship with Microsoft? Lately we've seen some tensions between developer and publisher if a game doesn't perform well (Respawn-EA is a prime example) and Quantum Break didn't necessarily set the world on fire commercially.

Is CrossFire any big in Western countries, though? Why would they announce it there?

Seeing MS in the background of the video makes me assume MS is publishing and their recent article about being self published for their next game is now changed. :P jk

I cant wait to see what they are making next! Multiplatform i believe too

Moving into multiplayer gaming, huh? Remedy are really going to need to work on their gameplay skills to make that work, cuz going off of their output the past decade plus...

Would be pretty cool if Sony pull a Spider-Man and hand over 007 to Remedy. A man can only dream. Still need to get around to playing Quantum Break but I hope it's something similar to it than Alan Wake.

Best wishes.
