Yeah, those look kinda goofy. Although that picture isn't of the Enterprise, the name on the ship reads "Kelvin". We know that we see some of the first man-made space vessels in the film, so maybe that is a shot of an early model?

And ignoring the fact this cast looks like they just walked off the set of American Idol, I also find that there's almost no resemblance in some of their casting choices. It feels like a different crew, and that's because it is.
