New Street Fighter X Tekken trailer!

I'm still hyped. I totally am in the shoes of people not happy bout the gems, but it is an awesome love letter to Final Fight/Tekken fans, which are the few franchises I go apeshit for.

Plus, it's not fucking out yet. Hold your judgment till then.

I want to like this game. But still not feeling it for some reason =/.

Gems announcement.
Normals being special cancelable into not being special cancelable.

Basically the sense of Capcom wanting to figure out to wring more money on the side dishes before they even finish the entree.

just realise how JURASSIC this meme is these days by internet standards

An alright trailer, I guess.

I still feel like I haven't seen enough gameplay. Can't they just put up some full matches? Or is the game still too likely to change?

Gameplay! Cg trailer was shitty.

Asuka has huge boobs in Tekken, wtf Capcom?

Asuka is about counters, don't fuck this up like with Raven.

To everyone having doubts, have you played the game yet?

I played one of the earlier builds at Comic con and it rocked!!!

Is Namco waiting till this is out to announce anything for Tekken X Street Fighter? I know they announced they are working on it but haven't said much else other than they didn't know how to deal with projectiles for the SF characters.

No, TxSF is the last game in Namco&Capcom Fighting Festival. Harada wants to show it in 2012, but don't count it'll be out before mid 2013. The game isn't even finished on paper.

They've said repeatedly that TTT2 is first priority. I suspect we don't see TKvsSF until mid-2013 at earliest.

This trailer was the first thing I've seen regarding this game that I liked. Not a huge Tekken fan and not a SF fan at all anymore, so I'm holding off to see what the final product is before deciding.

I may get more entertainment out of this game being bad then being good.

TxSF won't even be mentioned until Tekken Tag 2 console releases next December. So at the earliest you'll see it in the final days of 2012, and if an arcade version is being proposed (so far only console), we might see it in AOU2013 maybe?

The Juggleken characters certainly don't help, amirite?

I have a small handful of characters between both series I can tolerate.

Waiting for any more of them to show up.

Lili's nice, but it's a 2v2 game, so I need even a single other character I don't actively dislike. So kinda.

I have no problems with juggles though, my fav fighter this gen was MK9 after all.

Are Mortal Kombat fans even considered fighting game fans?

Gems really hurt this game for me but I still have it preordered and still expect to enjoy it more than UMvC3.

I'd jump at the opportunity to not be associated with fighting game fans.

There's always a sense of shame to following or playing anything in the genre.

It's like any other genre really.

The only fighting game it's 100% safe to like is Virtua Fighter, but no one actually likes it (outside a few crazies like myself)

Its my favorite 3D fighter, actually :) Tekken and SC dont mean much to me, VF is king!

I'm on your side dude. Final Showdown will be the only fighting game I buy in the first 11 months of 2012.

I think it's going to have a similar level of success as Skullgirls, at least in the online community.

Great game, great netcode (VF5 online was awesome), awesome graphically. Just no mainstream support.

Unlike alot of people I don't mind Gems and to me this is easily the coolest Fighter coming/out aside from GEV to me, so I'm pretyt hyped.

Thing is, this trailer wasn't nearly as good as the others. King being beastly, Bob and Rufus with some funny comedy, and Ryu/Ken Vs Kazuya where way more enjoyable to watch then this one.

Plus the music sucked compared to My Town playing while King was fucking shit up.

I don't know about that. SG has a publisher that actually markets the game.

This game has really great cutescenes, one of the best in recent memory.

Too bad the game itself doesn't look that interesting despite the premise.

More gameplay videos from Korea...

Some dropped combos but overall it's looking to me like real matches, and the game doesn't look bad at all. I think the hype will pick up again closer to release.

Damn, some real juicy new footage! I've never seen Nina use her multi throw or Steve go do actual flicker jabs from a flicker stance. Also, if you win with a grab, it says G instead of V at the marker under the lifebar. That's a nice touch.

And I see steve is still a juggle monster:

I don't know why they chose this art style. If they are going for the 2.5D, they should have stuck with SF4's style. Looks much better.

The re-use of animations from SF4 makes this game look really cheap. I just noticed even more whilst watching those location test matches - Julia has some of Yun/Yang's animations for her moves. It just looks really shoddy to me.

I also think they got Hugo wrong, his face is off for a start.

This looks good...not seeing the complaints really.

I guess if you didn't like SFIV then sure.

But with Gems not being that broken (yet....cough), I'm still looking forward to it.

Also Julia totally has Yun's forward H good catch(and Yang anti-air kick thingy too).

JULIA TO BE TOP TIER CONFIRMED.
