Unfortunately I failed the test for those two of the three elements so I'll take your word for it ^^;
Oh yeah I forgot, the whole little sister angle is bigger in Mahouka than in SAO (who is just a side character anyway) so I suppose that's one more core element of the series.

The source material was already a hit so that's a given.
And by source I don't mean the Light Novel; before that it was just a Web Novel.
Both it and SAO has the same background in their rise to fame.

Gary Stu seems to be major hits. Personally I like the world and "magic" explanation.
i have read the light novel, where it does give some lengthy explanation for the magic concepts which are similar towards "physic" concepts and etc.
It really depends. Like the one from your avatar's series, I would prefer much more than Kirito.

Gundam Seed isn't suck. It's just mediocre.
GSD is suck, and it makes everything worse.
Still, just can't understand how any can think Kira is worse than either of these characters. Kira at least has faults and shit, whereas Kirito just runs around with "faults" (Oh no, he's a BEATER. -.-) and harems.
I guess i'm just really out of the loop. Didn't realize Kira was considered a shit protagonist... I guess the more you know. :/

Guess I'm just not as cynical about things. I enjoyed both GS and GSD (granted I like GS a lot more then GSD.)
But then again I guess I'm just not as critical about these sort of things. So long as I enjoy it, I guess that's fine for me.

It'd be nice if they made a game based in Aincrad starting from the first floor and let us make our own character to play through with, but considering it's these characters are popular with the fans of the series that's probably not gonna happen any time soon

Can a not mainstream overrated series get a game please? I would love to see a Medaka Box game (based off the manga).
Edit: Kira is one of the best Gundam protagonist (right up there with Tobia, Banagher, and Domon)

Being mainstream and wildly popular is pretty much the only way a game's going to get significant funding and turn out as well as SAO:HF did. Most other anime cash-in games end up as terrible VNs.

Btw Medaka Box is published and owned by Shounen Jump, that's way richer blood than Dengeki Bunko.

SAO:HF is awesome! It's fun, the battle system is very good and despite being already packed with content it will have a free patch(not a paid dlc!) with new locations and 30 hours of gameplay!
Honestly the bad localization doesn't bother me at all, yes it's bad, but it's no game breaker like some maybe too fussy people say, English is not my mother language and i understand what characters say, even with the errors.
