With GDC 2014 well underway and Nintendo taking an active role with presentations and playable games, Nintendo of America has taken the chance to release some new, Wii U-focused trailers for some of the home console's eShop games on show at the event. Five trailers have been posted so far in this burst of activity, and some are brand new and show off some GamePad and system-specific features.

The games in question are Armillo, Stick It To The Man, Cubemen 2, Nihilumbra and Teslagrad.

Nintendo is covering Unity games at GDC, and that's why you're only hearing about Unity Wii U games at GDC this week. Obviously, Shovel Knight and Scram Kitty are not Unity games.

Yea, just an FYI, this is the week of GDC, which means most, if not all of the game announcements are going to be from the indie sector.

I really wish Nintendo would do some sort of HTML5 spotlight. I like indie games and its cool that Nintendo is working with small companies, but it's really awesome how they're supporting one-person 'garage devs'. Granting anyone the ability to publish a game that has the will to do so is very cool, very 'un-Nintendo' like thing to do.

It's not the right thread to complain, but it's true that every WiiU game announced these days seems to be indie. It's the Vita of home consoles I hope these sell well, Teslagrad looks particularly nice.
