New Witcher 3 Video | New Gameplay on monday

if that is the pc version then WOW. seriously massive downgrade and usually i dont even notice this stuff.

Yeah if that is the PC footage I am insanely disappointed right now. That looks like they took everything from the original gameplay videos and turned the settings down from ultra to medium and re-named them....Assuming thats PC footage.

It's also important to remember that CDProjekt is notoriously bad at compression on their Youtube videos. You usually have to wait for the Gamersyde version to see what the game actually looks like.

I concur. Hopefully it was the plebeian version.

Looks so damn good.

That said, really don't like the way the HUD looks.

*HORSE STAMINA LEVEL*

Really? Couldn't be more discreet with that one?

Probably was just like this for the press event.
Really dislike how i'm a massive Witcher fan, but i cant discuss the game in any threads, cause it will quickly become "omg downgrade worst graphics ever"

Graphically I'm not going to lie I'm disappointed. It doesn't look as good graphically as Unity does in my opinion and was hoping Witcher 3 would be the game to REALLY push PC hardware.

That being said, it does still look great and I have faith that Witcher 3 will be incredible, maybe even GOTY. Witcher 2 is one of my all time favorite RPG's.

Nice. That area shown kinda looked like Hinterlands from DA:I.

Can't wait. I might just skip the gameplay trailer and jump right in.

Well hopefully they didn't oversell their game and that won't be a problem. If they did, well, it will be talked about and rightfully so.

It's so bright and colourful! Like Witcher 2 :D. Footage I had previously seen looked pretty drab by comparison. That said, console graphics or not, it looks fucking great. Still don't get why current gen games all seem to skip AF, even in this video the textures looked pretty ass because of a lack of filtering.

Hopefully thats an indication that we are looking at the console version. And if so, Im looking smarter and smarter for upgrading my GPU recently.

Just finished posting about how i cancelled all preorders for 2015 due to variety of factors (bug issues/Day 1 DLC stuff).

Drooling over this though...

Different regions look different. The swamps in previous footage are very Witcher 1 like. The Skellig Islands that the debut footage was from is sort of Skyrim like. The Novigrad area is more Witcher 2 like.

what is up with the copy / paste Skyrim trees?

Saw them in a lot of areas of Dragons Age too. Dodge looked straight out of Monster Hunter lol.

Looks better then previous showings, but makes me wonder if this is just the PC Ultra version being shown again. Of course im looking at this on a little bitty window inside another small box on my PC monitor lol. We'll see how it looks full screen on my TV

HQ version in a few minutes.
Edit: Or maybe not, sorry about that :(

huh? What happened? I wanted to thank you and then seen the edit :(

This is, indeed, fucking annoying. Even if it was downgraded, so fucking what. Still looks gorgeous.

The downgrade is real,

Looks very good for an open game though and I agree about draw distance being impressive.

Very curious about the final resolution on ps4 or is it yet confirmed? I hope for 1080p but I know hardly will happen.

Its been downgraded alot graphically. Still looks good though, but AC Unity looks better.

Let's just get this out of the way...
DOWNGRADE DOWNGRADE!!
/s

Game is beautiful, whoever thought there will be a downgrade can eat crow :)

Interesting mix of opinions. It looks better than before. It looks downgraded from before.

I think it looks fine. About as good as I would realistically expect it to look. It's a massive game.

Downgrade, really? Fine with me, it looks freaking gorgeous. Can't wait to put my hands on it!

After this, I'm totally getting the novels.

Oh man so many games with huge beautiful worlds to explore are coming out this year:Xenoblade Chronicles X,The Witcher 3,Bloodborne,Rime...i'm going to explore every nook and cranny in those games! For someone who loves exploration and great art direction in games this will be one of my favourite years in gaming ever. :)

Edit:Bloodborne doesn't have a world as huge as the other games i mentioned but still i can't wait to start exploring its world as well...

MGSV, and probably Zelda. It is going to be nuts.

These as well although i need to catch up with previous MGS games before i get MGSV (i've only played the first back in the '90s) and as for Zelda i have a feeling it will be delayed for 2016.

The upgraded combat mixed with the promise of so much exploration has me beyond excited. That and the door being kicked off of its hinges with the Wild Hunt. Maybe Geralt will arrive in the elven wraith dimension and find a super advanced society that treats Geralt's world like a ren-fair or museum exhibit. Abduction, memory wiping: alien encounters it sounds like. Geralt thrashes about and steals aboard a space ship, which leads to the next series.

The graphics look a bit pastel and unsharpened in contrast to Witcher 2, but that's fine. Dragon Age Inquisition did a similar look, as well as Dead Rising 3. I think it's just whatever softer, next-gen lighting system is going around. I think some of the quality loss is due to compression.

The lack of per-object motion blur is super questionable. With graphics like these, and a framerate which will probably be closer to 30 on most reasonable or humble machiens, it really is a must.
