DF makes videos with the most dumb-proof explanations possible and people still fail to understand what they are saying and somehow this is DF's fault and mistakes/disinformation? How the hell does this happen?!
This is all so wrong, for both cases.
The overclocked 5700 was an exercise to see how true was Cerny's statement that higher clock is better than more CUs.
For the 2060 is because this is the lower-end GeForce RTX available, and the consoles will probably have modest RT power. He picked the weakest RTX GPU to test how games could work with RT at barely playable framerates, what they would have to sacrifice in quality. What was being discussed was RT only not rasterization, you people are retards, specially native english speakers because you have no excuse to not understand what is being said.
Cerny's statement was if you had two GPUs with the same tflop capabilities, the one with the higher clock speed but less CU would perform better
