It's a just a teeny bit early to give up on Kaepernick. No, he hasn't really had a great preseason, but we're not really intending on starting him this year (maybe if we have an awful year he'll get some reps in towards the end of the year) either.

Wouldn't surprise me. The young LB crew showed up big time tonight. They flashed enough that I think Reese and company will move on. Especially since they get to save face by saying it was injury related and not just a poor pick.

Feel terrible for the kid though. I hope he ends up on a team that can use a good 3-4 OLB. I think he'll excel if he can be healthy.

Finished watching the 1st half of the Pats game. Both the offense and defense have a lot of work to do. Offense isn't in sync, and the oline doesn't look great. Hard to judge the Pats defense because they are still missing some guys plus it's all vanilla, but they keep getting gashed in the middle when Wilfork is out. It's not surprising because he is a beast, but he isn't going to play every snap. Not impressed by the offense or defense tonight. Both still need a lot of work.
