Fear of a GAF Planet

After a long and trying offseason, a new year dawn's upon the league. New hope blossoms and titles are dreamt of, then the injuries hit.

Let us begin, as always, by welcoming the 2016 NFL Hall of Fame class. (Image shamelessy stolen from NFL.com)

Dick Stanfel, Kenny Stabler, Kevin Greene, Tony Dungy, Eddie Debartolo, Brett Favre, Marvin Harrison and Orlando Pace.

We should also salute the Super Bowl champions, the Denver Broncos, and their legendary and now retired quarterback, Peyton Manning.

I've called Brett Favre "Brent" so many times that I catch myself thinking it's actually Brent.

Edit: GO PACK GO!

Hope preseason goes well. No injuries and the coaches and players get what they need out of it.

Notes from Panthers' Fan Fest last night

1) Stephen Hill is super busted apparently
2) We really are about to start two rookie corners with Benwikere as nickel
3) Our day 1 punter may be named Swayze Waters
4) Cam Newton is still a good football player

Good morning everyone

I don't do that.

I love it! I see nothing wrong with this post. Corey Coleman lighting it in training camp.

Yea football.

Here's to yet another season of 49ers disappointment. It's about the only thing they've been consistently good at 😐

Holy shit the hall of fame game is tomorrow. I finally can stop feigning interest in Baseball!

Patriots camp/pre-season:

Watch for Chris Hogan and Malcom Mitchell. New receivers that have looked good. Normally it takes years for a WR to learn this system, but so far these two have stuck out in camp.

Right guard position is wide open. The rest of the line looks pretty set in place, but we have Jonathan Cooper, Ted Karras, Shaq Mason, Josh Kline and Tre Jackson as viable options for that one right guard spot.

The running back group is something I am watching out for because I think it's largely devoid of talent. Blount is going to be the lead back simply because everybody else is hurt. After him, the talent drop off is huge. We don't have a reliable between the tackles runner after him.

There won't be a lot of change on the defense, aside from Sheard moving to starter.
