Redacted: I completely take it back what I said earlier, DJax was just being DJax.

"I always try to do something out of the ordinary," Jackson said. "I probably would have dove in from the 12-yard line if I could. I knew nobody was going to catch me. I look to do things for excitement. The fans pay for that. I just wanted to bring that out of them."
Edit: He also apparently used the word "unpossible" in his press conference. Forrest Gump indeed :lol :lol :lol

because he sucks at throwing the ball. He is fucking up on the simplest of throws, like little screen passes out of the backfield, it takes him way too long to get the ball out and even then he overthrows it.

he has actually looked competent most of the game throwing the ball, the oc just refuses to take off the handcuffs

I saw some solid throws out of him today. He needs work, but it was a heck of a lot better than, say, Kevin Kolb's first NFL start.

God damn, all NFC West teams have at least 8 losses. Whoever wins that abomination of a division should have to wear some sort of sign on their unis that says "special needs football team" when they play in the playoffs.

I take it you're not as excited for the eventual Rams-Raiders Super Bowl as I am?

:D

alright looking ahead to the playoffs I've chosen to root for the falcons because I can't stand anyone else in the playoffs this season. Gas the bus up falcons-age! Also for tonight I will say GO PACK!

Yes Yes more of this. Go Rams!

Quick question:

If the Steelers win out the rest of their games would they still retain the second seed and first round bye?

Also, is A. Rogers out for the season?

I don't feel bad about that loss.

There were some blatant missed calls, but overall we played well. Scott doesn't whiff on that block and we win the game.

I saw some good things:

1. Max protect. FINALLY. Good to see Ben make throws while upright for a game.
2. Good running. This was one of Mendy's better games on the ground

and some bad:

1. Jonathan Scott. Jesus. How can a guy so big play so small?
2. No Polamalu. Granted Sanchez only took slants all game, but our blitziing was non existent without Troy.

Yes. We hold the better Divisional record over Baltimore.

Thanks. :)

Well, this loss isn't so bad then. Keep your heads up Steeler fans.

Rules are the Rules, brah.
Fuck it. I hate the rule, but that's all well and good. My problem (unlike most people here) is not the rule. The problem was that it was called wrong. It was not a tuck. He had two hand on the ball. Also, it was OVERTURNED. Meaning they thought they had conclusive evidence to change that either way? Bullshit. And what was that phone call about anyway? smh

The game against the Saints? Kolb played pretty well that game, outside of one bad throw.

I don't even know how Scott can make a pro football team...it really makes you wonder what these coaches look at during training camp and practices. Then again, that just takes the heat off of Arians for calling a play that has your guy getting the ball while standing still in the endzone. All they had to do was have Ben lean forward for crying out loud.

Ok, so after today's results (before the Sunday and Monday night games, obviously) I have the following NFC playoff seedings forecasted based on the remaining games left to be played:

1st Seed - Falcons (14-2)
2nd Seed - Eagles (12-4)
3rd Seed - Bears (11-5)
4th Seed - Seahawks (7-9) (they get the tiebreaker over Rams, who also go 7-9, because they go 4-2 in divsion while Rams go 3-3 in division)
5th Seed - Saints (11-5)
6th Seed - Packers (10-6) (they get the tiebreaker over the Giants, who also finish 10-6, because they win their lone head to head match vs Giants)

So first round games would be:

Packers @ Bears
Saints @ Seahawks

If Aaron Rodgers can't go next week, than I might change my mind and pick Giants to win over the Packers.

Also, in the first round, I think I would pick both the away teams to win (Packers over Bears, Saints over Seahawks), leaving the round 2 matchups as:

Packers @ Falcons
Saints @ Eagles

My NFC Championship game prediction is Falcons over the Eagles.

Superbowl prediction is Patriots over Falcons.

I love how the NBC producers are trying to get Dungy more involved in the highlights. He sounds even more awkward than usual.

Damn, a lot of injuries on the Pats DL today. Packers should be able to run the ball easily.

heh.

Have you watched the Packers play this year? We couldn't run against a high school team.

EDIT: "And then a video game takes place." Is it a new NFL rule that at least one announer has to say this per week?

They made it to the sb the next year and got annihilated fuck their crying.

The Tuck rule game was the Super Bowl of that year. If the Raiders won they were going all the way. Only reason the Raiders lost to the Bucs was because dipfuck head coach didn't change the play names and the Gruden-led Bucs thus new all the plays. Stupid. Long live the Gannon Raiders, in memory at least.

Yeah, they're trying to be entertaining like the NFL net, but Dungy and Roidney have the voices of sloths.

i turned the eagles game off after they were down by 20, watching the highlights now

i dont wanna face vick at the super bowl. falcons better beat em

The Bears are winning all of their remaining games, yo. Thus they'll be ahead of the Eagles cuz they won the h2h.

I thought Tebow looked fine for his first start. He still needs to improve his accuracy to be able to throw over the middle, but he threw deep and to the sideline pretty well.

I am up 20 in the hipster league playoff game. I have NE's D, but my opponent has Branch and the Firm. I think I am fucked. Lets go Packers D. Shut out the Pats tonight.
