Yeah I'd definitely miss the rivalry and it'd take several seasons with the Rams to build up any sort of feeling of hatred.

Still not the same as years and years of intense hatred. Especially with all the Favre fueled rage, I mean, how do you replace that?

You guys could lament and celebrate Favre together as you show them your ways and cap their horns with wee blocks of cheese to mark their status of initiates.

I wonder if people in Minnesota would become Green Bay fans? Now that would be weird.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd do. I'd either become an LA Viking fan, go completely teamless, or at worst I'd become a Bears fan so I could still hate the cheeseheads.

Does anyone here watch Carl's (from Aqua Teen Hunger Force) weekly prediction? It's mostly football but not always. I just stumbled on it a couple of weeks ago and it's at least entertaining if you've ever watched the show or know the character. Plus it's always short, which is nice. Anyway, check it out if you're interested:

He sure does like picking Cowboys games.

I do not understand you fucking retarded, backwards hillbillies in Minnesota. You pay for a Twins stadium but won't support the Vikings and you let the North Stars leave. I don't think the Vikings should leave Minnesota, I think Minnesota shoule leave the country.

Ship em to Canada! Oh wait, they're already getting the Bills, no need for insult to injury.

Well, look at it this way. The economy is down, and the populus of Minnesota is generally more conservative when it comes to funding I HOPE THE EMERGENCY BREAK ON YOUR HOUSE FAILS AND IT ROLLS RIGHT THROUGH THE TRAILER PARK, DOWN THE HILL, AND INTO SMASHES INTO THE CATTLE BARN IN YOUR SHITTY ONE HORSE TOWN.

I don't think the public should fund any stadiums. As to your manufactured home joke (poors don't like when you call them mobile homes)....

get f'd, poor!

if they are going to move the Vikings to LA and put the Rams in the North, lets realign all the way and put the Cowgirls in the NFC South where they belong. Carolina to the East. Fuck Jerry Jones and his whining.

You did nail me on the "one horse town" comment though! And I wouldn't have it any other way. I've witnesses more common sense from that one Indiana horse than I did in my 3+ years living in Boston. Lunchbox is a mensa member compared to most of New England.

Can some1 translate this hillbilly trash talk to something I understand? Something about releasing the brake on a mobile home and then eznark posts a pic of (his?) house that would be worth an extra 2 mil if it was on a lot in a state where people actually want to live.

But then the NFC North is still one short.

That raft ride into this country must have given you a heat stroke and fried what little brains you had, esse.

just cause your milk route goes through the city, doesnt mean you actually lived here.

It pleases me to see how Lunchbox has honed his skills since that awful Dolpihns breakdown from last year. It's like watching an artist progress.

I actually lived in Brighton for the bulk of that time, near BU.

see, this is how you catch a poser. people dont actually live in brighton, you buy a house, sell it for profit and move to greenwich.

Still generally more miss than hit but definitely one to watch in 2012 NFL GAF

Perhaps there's a biblical comparison to be drawn to better understand his newfound success. The tale of Samson? I think so. Perhaps the longer Brady's hair grows, the sharper Lunchbox becomes. By 2012, he may very well be nigh unstoppable.

Label me a doubter.

The injury bug just keeps biting the Indianapolis Colts.

Today the Colts announced that wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez has been placed on injured reserve with a left knee injury, ending his 2010 season.

The team's official announcement makes a specific point of saying that Gonzalez suffered the injury "when being tackled out of bounds," making clear that the Colts think the hit delivered by Texans safety Bernard Pollard on Monday night should have drawn a penalty flag and a fine.

But the play wasn't flagged, and Pollard escaped a fine this week as well. So there's a clear disconnect between what the Colts think "tackled out of bounds" means and what the league thinks it means.

In any event, Gonzalez's season has now been cut short for the second straight year. In 2009 and 2010 combined, Gonzalez played in a grand total of three games and caught all of five passes.

He's beginning to Believe.

Man, I usually look forward to these Cowboy games. Hopefully the Cowboys make it interesting. Not that I'd be completely surprised if they pull one out, but it's just not the same this time.

I definitely like it this way better though. With Brent a Cowboy game primetime game was almost certain defeat. Rodgers has done pretty well so far against them. If only he had gone in earlier in that game a few years ago.

Edit: Atari Bigby has been activated from PUP!!! Here come the reinforcements!

I argued it was a terrible move for NE, look at Harvins numbers before and after Moss.
pats have the best record in the nfl, the guy who replaced moss (deion branch) is lighting it up and catching balls moss didnt even used to bother with

harvin's team is out of the play offs, moss doesnt even bother catching a open ball that lands 2 inches next to him in the red zone, has a bust up with chilly

we definitely got the lower end of the deal (and a 3rd round pick)
