I have decided I no longer want Chucky to coach the Texans so I introduce you to my new choice:

Bring him in as Asst Head Coach-Defense and let him punch Kubiak in the face during a game. His dad can teach him how its done.:D

Hey cut that out! >:(

And man, only today do I realize just how hated the Pats are. Tons of people who know I am a Browns fan have been sending me emails/texts/etc to say "thank you" for beating the Pats so badly. :lol

2004 draft class was legendary. Just from the qb's there was a Messiah, a 30 year old virgin (or however old Eli is) and a soon to be MVP. Not bad.
Ben can no longer be named the Messiah. Eli's wife is pregnant via immaculate conception.

Shaun Hill's forearm injury forced the Lions to rush him back too early.

In his first game back, you could see right after he threw the ball the first time he was in serious pain.

Yeah what's happening to Stafford is exactly what happened to Bradford his last season at Oklahoma.

Bradford hurt his shoulder in the first game just like Stafford did. And then came back IIRC and hurt it again around week 6. These types of shoulder injuries take about a year to fully heal.

Such a shame too because Stafford back in his two games threw 6 TD's, 1 INT and 1 Rush TD. I really like the dude but I hope this doesn't become a carrer problem.

Although so much of my frusration with Staff would be alievated had we won yesterday. All douch Drew Stanton had to do was fall down on that third play instead of trying to pass. We would've won had it not been for that.

EDIT: You guys should browse some Lionsforums. It's hilarious many are already talking about drafting a QB next year.:lol

Just checked why you were so high on him...

1TD 1INT 189 yards vs the Lions isn't a stud. :lol

Trade me Henne!

TT was unnecessary most of the game, I just ran the ball all over him. Did you see his numbers against the Bills? Woo! Plus, kid has jets.

Take him.

Ben will always be the NFL Messiah. Eli's wife is pregnant via one of his two brothers and/or possibly his father.
That is one sick family.

I was hoping that with the marriage that Eli might have lost his virginity by now or at least shown the ability to grow some facial hair.

Why didn't he just go for 2?

I have no idea. I want so badly to support Schwartz but he keeps piling up the bad decisions and they're costing Detroit.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Phil Simms missed 27 games in his first four seasons before being an iron man for the rest. There's no way they give up on Stafford right now.

It is weird the dichotomy between our two QBs. We've already discussed Eli, but Ben is on the opposite end of the spectrum as a sex addicted rapist. Put them together at the end of the season and it'd be the perfect QB with 4 SB rings.

I was very impressed with the Lions calling a passing play instead of a running one with the Jets having zero timeouts and at the 2 minute warning. Very clever.

That's the one that makes me have no faith in Schwartz's ability to manage a game. Run the ball and the Jets have no more than a minute left to drive down the field after a punt.

With the 3rd string QB too right?

Putting them together would either result in the greatest qb or all time or possibly cause a rip in the space time continuum (the universe may not be able to handle the merging of so much perv with so much virg).

I can't beat up Schwartz for that call. First down wins the game there. They had no chance with the way they run the ball and the way the Jets attack the LOS. Personally I'd have gone for a high percentage swing pass or a screen to Best or Smith, not the FB to keep the clock moving but whatever.

Thoughts on our game yesterday. Like it's been said, our special teams damn near lost the game for us. That phase of the game was embarrassing. Like my father said yesterday, they needed to go straight from the Dome to the practice field.

This bend/don't break defense is pretty nerve racking. How they kept giving up 3rd and longs pissed me off to no end, but they held strong when it was most needed.

The offense came out great in the first half and then went to sleep in the second half. In my section, we were in agreement that we hate that play where they try to run Turner to the outside. He doesn't have the speed for that and it usually ends up costing more than it helps us. Also Ryan had a decent game but he missed Jenkins and Douglas a few times as it appeared he had made his mind up pre-snap he was gonna go to White. I really hate when he does that, he still needs work on spreading ball around more in games.

Oh well 6-2 and 2-0 in the division. I will take it all day. Another statement game coming up Thursday.

More likely it would cause a rip in Eli's asshole and an exhausted Rapistburger

The biggest problem with the play is it had zero chance of being a first down when he threw it. The QB has to eat the play and take a sack or try to run it to keep the clock moving. Period.

Ya, you just can't trust your third string quarterback to be smart in that situation.

Sanchez was 10/13 144 yds and a rushing td when he was in 2 minute mode. When he was calling the plays.

I'm not sayin, but I'm jus sayin.

Doesn't matter, Jets had no timeouts, they don't even need to pretend to get the first down. Hell, they could have just taken a knee. If Stafford is in, yeah, maybe pass. Otherwise, eat the ball and the clock.

Douglas hasn't exactly been helping himself with some of his head scratching route running on occasion. He's supposed to be a speed guy but he consistently lets the DB cut him off. Jenkins has been doing well. The offense has looked a lot more effective since his return. Finneran also made a nice couple of grabs. I'm glad to see Turner running over people these last few games, just wearing down the defenses.

Special teams has got to be fixed. Should be a good game against the Ravens. They have a statistically balanced D while we have a statistically balanced O.

Motherfucking FIRE SCHOTTENHEIMER.
The team has beasts in every offensive position. Simplify the offense and let the boy use those beasts at his discretion.

Whether it's 50 seconds or 1:30, I don't trust the Lions defense that looked gassed on the previous drive to keep them out of FG range.

I can easily beat him up for that call, the Jets had NO timeouts. :lol Even taking a sack in that situation would have been better because you run a whole 40 seconds off the clock which was almost half the amount of time left in the game.

I would turn the Jets offense into the K Gun.

I always find it humorous when people point to 2 minute drill statistics of mediocre quarterbacks and say "see, he is awesome!"

For God's sake, it's optimum circumstances. The defense is generally playing soft, they cannot change personnel quickly, they leave the middle of the field wide open and constantly react instead of attack.

Plus, it's the Lions.

:lol

K gun is about as effective at winning games/winning postseason games as the Schottenheimer family/Martyball disciples' R2P2 offenses have historically been.

I wonder when or if the Eagles will try to re-sign Vick and how much money he will get.

I can't wait for him to be financially solvent again, it'll be something nice to see.

The Ravens scare me. Pittsburgh II coming to town. I hope Mike Smith works on some quick slants and screens or Ryan may get eaten up. He got pretty roughed up by Tampa Bay yesterday.

Shango. He didn't put one up immediately after the game and so his reaction is a bit muted.

If he leads the Eagles to the playoffs and keeps his level of play, he will be highly sought after. There are a lot of teams that will need QB help that have a few too many wins right now to have a shot at the top 2-3 QBs judging by how shallow this class is in that regard. Unlike last year, they will fly off the board.

Not sure if it was posted, but Matt Moore has been placed on season ending IR with a torn labrum.

@wingoz Matt Moore has been placed on season ending injured reserve w/ torn labrum.

Clausen is the man apparently.

Oh thank God. I was worried about Mike Vick's financial future.....
