Bite your fucking tongue.

If LeFraud ever changes football teams it is obvious he is either jumping ship to Indy or New England.

I love you Al Harris but what the fuck:

Harris said he felt he was led on the past three weeks because he practiced as the top nickel corner and was told to study as though he were going to play that week. Then, each Saturday he'd be informed that he wasn't going to play.

When he found out he wasn't going to play against Dallas, he knew it was the end.

"I thought they'd be a little more straight forward with me," Harris said. "They had me going home and studying and things like that and they allready knew their plans. I guess you hear it so much that it's a business. It's just the way it goes.

Shocking. You mean the Packers actually expected you to meet the minimum expectations of your job while you were still in their employ? How fucking stuffing.

Roscoe Parrish out for the year with a broken wrist, he made a hell of a play on a non-catch. Crazy vertical.

Too bad, he was finally coming around and being used after wasting away under Mauron.

Coughlin just had his Monday presser. Full injury report:

- Hakeem Nicks is fine. Rolled ankle that's doing well today.
- Adam Koets is indeed done for the season. Torn ACL. Kevin Boothe will be activated off PUP to replace him.
- David Diehl does have a hip injury. More tests are being run but they are hoping for positive news.

It really sucks for Koets. I thought he played well in place of O'Hara and to lose him in such a lopsided win is even worse. Curious to see how the offensive line plays out if O'Hara misses another game with Koets out and if Diehl is out any significant amount of time.

EDIT: Coughlin says Boothe took snaps at Center last week....

I bet the Cowboys go on a winning streak now...
It's nice to want things but have you seen their remaining schedule?

@ New York Giants
vs. Detroit Lions
vs. New Orleans Saints
@ Indianapolis Colts
vs. Philadelphia Eagles
vs. Washington Redskins
@ Arizona Cardinals
@ Philadelphia Eagles

They might beat the Cardinals. I wouldn't even give them the Detroit game with the way that the Lions are playing but that's a possibility as well.

Keep in mind that the Raiders are on a 3 game winning streak and the Browns just destroyed the Saints and Pats.

Nothing is impossible this season.

Can I ask a question? What would make the Cowboy players play harder for Garrett than Wade? Is that the theory on firing Wade?

Jerry is trying to determine if he needs a new head coach next year or if Garrett is the answer.

They won't. The whole staff will be gone at the end of the year. This is a empty gesture to appease the fans that paid six figures for their PSLs.

Yeah I saw Mike/Ralph/Pat H tweet about the ACL, terrible news. Koets had really come on strong and did a tremendous job again yesterday when he was in.

Nicks is Plax 2.0 with these injuries :lol. No practice but dominates games. He is a virtual lock to start in the Pro Bowl this season unless he gets hurt. How many teams send different WRs to the pro bowl on consecutive years? Awesome for the Giants when you consider that we hadn't sent one since Homer Jones before last year.

The only thing that concerns me, and I got lambasted for this on BBI, is that the Giants have currently beaten only one team that is above .500 and that's the Chicago Bears... who stink anyway. That's why I can't take the "Best team in the NFC" talk seriously. Hopefully we don't have a let down like last year, which I don't think we will thanks to Perroid. The real competition begins next week against the Eagles.

The good thing about Moore being injured is that Clausen will (or should) get these last 8 games to show ANYTHING to a potential new coaching staff that he can be the man. Because if he doesn't, even with the shit that we have on offense, the Panthers can't pass on Luck if they have a shot at him (I don't want Locker though).

Texans were 4-2 when we beat them as well. Currently they are .500 but they were being crowned kings of the AFC South at the time after beating the Colts. The Giants beat them thoroughly, too.

If we're going off of percentages, Seattle was 4-3 yesterday, above .500. Though it's the NFC West but hey, you play the schedule you're given.

Last year, even when the team was winning you knew something was off. We only really dominated the Raiders and Bucs at the time. The Cowboys game was a major alarm that the defense wasn't what it was when we got torn up on the ground. Any fan that watched knew that we had major match up issues with the Saints. They exposed the Giants, badly.

This year? I think we can absolutely hang with any team as long as we don't hand them the ball three times a game and if we stay relatively healthy...

It can't get any worse.
This is true. Like I said earlier, I never look to underestimate any team. My stomach was churning before the Seattle game yesterday despite everyone saying we should go in and destroy that team. We did just that, but I'll have the same butterflies and stomach churning when the Cowboys come to town as well. As long as Coughlin prepares the team as though they are facing a 7-1 team and not a given up 1-7 team - that's all I care about.

If you thought Wade was bad wait until you get a load of Jason Garrett.

Who do think has been calling plays for the offense this entire time?

If Jerry Jones has two brain cells to rub together to come up with an intelligent thought it'll be that he doesn't go the way of Al Davis, fires the entire coaching staff, and hires a GM so that people who know something about football actually run that team.

The fact they ever let Jimmy Johnson go way back in the day is telling that he doesn't know what he's doing.

Edit: then again, I hate the Cowboys, so let's sign Garrett to a six year contract!

Edit edit: Only a $50,000 fine on Collins! Woooo no suspension!

Kevin Boothe coming off PUP in perfect timing. He can play T, G, and C, but I suspect he'll get most practice at OG/C. I didn't see any bad snaps from Seubert, and I also liked what I saw from Mitch Petrus yesterday in mop-up duty. He is your typical Giants OL; tough, rugged, and looks to be smooth on the run.

Depending on Diehl's status, there's different variables where they can go.

Andrews-Seubert-Petrus-Snee-McKenzie
Andrews-Diehl-Seubert-Snee-McKenzie

Boothe and/or Petrus as the primary backup. Wish we knew more about O'Hara, but apparently it looks like a week to week thing.

I prefer to think that water always finds it's level like these teams do. You always get these "they aren't as good/bad as their record shows" type comments now. I don't think that over the long haul, any of the teams we beat will be over .500 except the Texans who I see at 9-7 at best. Seems like everyone in the media is crowning the Giants already, I just think it's undeserved. Hooray for us being atop the NFC BCS tho.

I thought we matched up well against the Saints for a number of reasons. I thought our press corners would dominate the Saint WRs at the LOS and that Web would get help with Colston. The Saints were missing a guard and their RT so I thought Tuck would have a field day (thanks Flozell), I thought our OL would push their DL around, particularly the interior. I thought that they wouldn't stand a chance running the ball either. Corey Webster catches that pick on the Saints first drive, it's a whole different story.

I wonder if there is a torrent available for that one, it'd be cool to see how far we've come with Fewell and being healthy.

Jason Garret is terrible, he can't even call an offensive correctly when that's all he is supposed to do, how can he possibly do any better when he has more on his plate.

Giants weren't getting any push from their DT's last year, notably from Cofield and Bernard. Canty was injured for half the season and was new coming into the 43 defense. With him healthy and getting more experience in this scheme, plus Cofield playing balls to the wall, it's helped Osi and Tuck tremendously.

Everyone remembers Washington failed Swinging Gate. GAFfer brought up a question.

I never understood how this plays are legal. Isn't there supposed to be 3 players lined up to each side of the center? And that's why there's an illegal formation penalty when WRs don't line up on the line?
Or am I wrong?
The 2nd part I know, but what's this in bold?

Oh don't get me wrong. I agree. I mentioned it before that I couldn't care less about being the supposed "best in the NFC" or in the NFL and there's little reason to put much stock in it (Super Bowl is the only thing that counts).

Right now, I care about hitting the playoffs and having good seeding position. The Giants are in a good position to get that accomplished with another win against the Cowboys and taking down the Eagles at least once this year.

The Eagles will be a challenge especially since they've owned the Giants since the 2008 playoff loss. We're due for some payback.:D

I didn't have much of any belief that he would get that help without Phillips back there. Not to mention the fact that I believe Boley was out in that game and I thought Shockey would eat the Giants alive in the middle of the field.

Add in the fact that Tuck was injured and I didn't feel we matched up well with the amount of weapons the Saints had on offense. I don't know how much fun the game would be to watch considering it was one of the most frustrating of the year for me. I remember thinking Sheridan was at his worst from an adjustment standpoint in that game. We sent 4 practically the whole time and got less than zero pressure on Brees and we did nothing to adjust in the second half post-drubbing.

I'm just happy at the possibility of seeing Andrews at LT moving forward. If the Cowboys show up this week, Ware should be a good test for him. Not going to miss seeing the swinging door that is David Diehl at the position.

Can the Bengals win tonight?

For some reason I have a weird feeling they are gonna play well and win.

But as a Bengals fan I am used to being wrong. :(

It's pretty wacky that the Giants have all their divisional games all lumped together the way they are.

And I agree, the whole "Best in the NFC" comment leaves me feeling uneasy all the time to be honest, and we can't let that cloud us when we face the Eagles in, what, two weeks?

Also, you guys better buckle up. If you were pissed about the amount of cowboys coverage last night- you're about to be in a world of hurt. We're all fucked.

A shame. Been enjoying the fact that he's contributing more than returns now. Chan has made the receivers look so much better that I almost wonder if he could've salvaged Josh Reed and James Hardy.

So Dolphins fans, how's Pasqualoni as a defensive coordinator? I know he was fired which means he didn't work out but was that on him or the level of talent he had to work with?

Happy about no suspension for Collins, $50,000 seems a bit much, but whatever.

And Al Harris needs to zip it. Any other team would have dropped him like a bad habit as soon as he got injured. Ugh. Not making it easy to move on.

Shit, Brandon Jacobs was crowing best in the NFL in the paper today. But he talks a lot so par the course I guess.

Seems like the new min. fine for h2h hits now.

David Diehl is expected out several weeks with a partially torn hamstring. Leaving Boothe on the PUP list, signing Andrews and not IR'ing Beatty is looking like a smart move for Reese right now.

Yeah. And the dude makes millions, unlike the Zombo hit (which was complete asshole-ish garbage he got fined vs. Poutface) so I guess I shouldn't be all bleeding heart about it.

While Collins lost money, Eagles defensive back Kurt Coleman will not be punished for his hit on Colts wideout Austin Collie.

"Because Collie's helmet-to-helmet contact was a result of being driven toward a defender from a prior hit, there's no fine for this action," Jason La Canfora of NFL Network said.
Glad to see the NFL got it right on Collies hit.
That didn't look like it was malicious or intentional.

Josh contributed enough, but Hardy was just the wrong fit. David Nelson took his job, and he's done what Chan's asked him to do.

Hardy is my personal poster boy for what was wrong with last regime, drafting for need instead of skill. You lack height at WR so you go out of your way to fill that need, even though there's a more skilled receiver available but doesn't fit your exact need (height).

That's how you end with the McCargo's of the world on your roster. At last they found Kyle Williams to make up for that fuck up. If they can just cut down on the 1st/2nd round fuck ups, they may be able to build something because they do better in the late rounds.

I've been talking about Steve Johnson for two years, it's good to finally see him produce and verify that I wasn't totally insane.

So the Bears have the Vikings two times in the final 8 games. I thought this was a problem at first but now these are two win-able games. If the Bears sneak into the playoffs in a bad NFC we are going to keep Lovie Smith for another season. :(

The only redeeming value of winning next week is putting a dagger into old man Brent. Oh and it is always fun to troll Slo after the Bears beat the Vikes. :D

Pasqualoni went back to Dallas? :lol

No he was done. If he is in Dallas he is for sure a major part of the defenses problems.

He defensive playcalling was just...bad. Alot of poor calls for man coverage Dallas fans?

Bret favre should coach the cowboys

when they reach the superbowl he can bench romo and put himself in and be the first guy to win the superbowl as a Player, coach and a playercoach

Even though lunchbox is being lunchbox, which players could you honestly see as a coach one day? The only one I'd bet money on would be Ray Lewis.
